Greek mythology is something that never really appealed to me until 2005. It was during that time frame when a video game came out for the PlayStation 2 called God of War. God of War was a groundbreaker for me, and featured a hero named Kratos who was born of the Gods and needs to fight to become the God of War. Along the way he runs into a variety of Greek Gods and in the third game confronts the King of the Gods Zeus, as his arch enemy. What does this have to do with slot machines? To me I am a pretty big fan of the game, and find it reminds me a lot of other WMS games such as Sun Warrior. The Great Zeus slot is more of a standard slot than other games like Knight's Keep, but the game is very solid and does hold its own. My own land casino experiences on the game were very solid and I distinctly remember playing this game while my wife went to a superhero slot a few years ago. During this session I had put $100 into the machine and lost quite a bit until I hit the massive Free Spins round and ended up actually taking home $228 on top of the $100 I had in the machine.
WMS has begun porting a lot of its land games over to the cyber world, and Great Zeus is no exception. The game has been able to be completely ported over the cyber world and aside from all of the buttons being moved from physical to digital, the game is essentially the same.
