Swap the Flop
There are many different varieties of poker games that you can play and one of the latest releases for you to sink your teeth into is Swap the Flop. The free Swap the Flop game may seem like a rather unusual name for an online casino game, but it’s one that punters keep coming back to time and time again. Two things make Swap the Flop lucrative to players – the bonus (which we will explain later in the review) and the high RTP.
So, you are probably sat there scratching your head wondering how to play this virtual casino game, but it’s ever so simple and can see you generate a load of cash. Indulge in the free Swap the Flop game at the majority of online casinos with no download needed, you can even try Swap the Flop for fun, before risking real cash.
Explain the Game
Sitting at your virtual table, it’s just you against the dealer. Your screen is uncluttered and easy to navigate, thanks to the limited options on display. You will notice two cards to the top of the table with the words ‘dealer’ on – these are the dealers cards. In the centre of the screen is a space for 5 cards and to the lower of the table is where you will find the bonus bet box and your swap bet box – this is where you adjust your bet. Press the green ‘deal’ button and you will be dealt two cards to the bottom of the screen.
The dealer’s cards will be red to the top of the screen and three cards will be shown face up in the centre of the table. Look at your 2 cards and make the decision to play with your current hand or swap. Deciding to play will make the dealer turn his cards and two other cards are added to the centre of the table – the outcome will be shown instantly. If you decide to swap, the three cards to the middle of the table will be swapped and instantly the game will end with the dealers hand being shown and the two remaining cards.
Rules of the Game
The aim of the game is simple – beat the dealers hand by getting a higher combination. Your swap bet will be distributed as 25% of the ante and 75% of the bet. The dealer needs a pair of jacks or better to qualify. If the player beats the dealer’s hand and the dealer doesn’t qualify, the player will receive 1:1 on their ante and the bet is a tie. If the player beats the dealer’s hand and the dealer doesn’t qualify, the player receives 1:1 on their ante and 1: on their bet. If a player’s best five card hand ties with the dealers best 5 card hand, the ante and bet will be a push regardless if whether the dealer has qualified. Make a flush or better and receive the following ante bonus, regardless of the dealer’s hand:
- Flush: 4x
- Full house: 5x
- Four of a kind: 10x
- Straight flush: 100x
- Royal flush: 200x.
Play the bonus bet and get paid the following on any pre-flop ace or air:
- Any ace: 3x
- 22-TT: 5x
- JJ: 10x
- QQ: 15x
- KK: 20x
- AA: 30x.
Analyse the Stats
The RTP for a swap bet and a bonus bet is 97.74%, which makes it a high paying table game. The game may seem very complicated to play, but even someone with no knowledge in table games will pick it up fairly quickly, especially when playing in test mode. Before the game begins, you can choose whether to play the bonus bet or not – we absolutely recommend that the bonus bet is brought into play, because whether you beat the dealer or not, you can still pick up a sizeable win from the bonus bet (similar to Texas Hold’em Switch). Your bonus bet can be higher than your swap bet and vice versa, but the more you plough into the bonus and swap bets, the more you can win when playing for real cash.
