Tasty Win Slots
The sheer number of online casino software developers out there today is nothing short of astounding, as it seems that every brand is looking to get in on the online slots hunt. Looking at the up start names that are causing quite the stir, Spinomenal is certainly a brand well worth talking about. Currently boasting a catalogue of over 40 games, it’s pretty evident that the developer is pushing forward this year with a selection of new offerings. Representing the latest creation from Spinomenal, Tasty Win is a game that the developer promises to have punters foaming at the mouth.
Promises to emerge from online slot game creators certainly aren’t new, in fact players are largely sick to the back teeth of them. Hence why some have met Tasty Win video slot with a bit of caution. That being said, for our money – as you’ll gather from the following review – Tasty Win is a game that may just deserve such treatment.
Dripping with Chocolate
The name of this new Spinomenal title provides a huge giveaway to what the game is all about, as it’s all about the sweet stuff. At first glance, you’ll find that every inch of the reels in this game are simply dripping with sugar, and in some instances we really do mean dripping. Each icon tile is backed by chocolate, with the focus of such being a sweet of some description.
The backdrop sadly appears a touch out, as it seems to be open fields, with no real connection to sweets of sugar in any way. Production values wise, it’s also worth mentioning that Spinomenal has pulled out the big guns here, as the game carries a very distinct gloss. From a theme standpoint, this game is hardly original, but in looks it at minimum does what’s required of it.
Anything but Fancy Fun
The looks of free Tasty Spin slot will give you a boost, but the base game may just have you counting forty winks. Spinomenal has fallen into the age-old trap of not doing enough to create a game that really has the power to excite players right off the bat. There is seemingly no real payline structure in effect that we can see, with bets ranging from 0.20 all the way to 200 coins. The max win comes in at 200,000 coins though, so that is at least something to worth writing home about if you fancy betting big. The problem with Tasty Spin is that the base game barely gets out of first gear.
Where are all the Bonuses?
This game is called Tasty Spin, so you would probably be loading it up expecting to receive a whole host of bonus features. We hate to be the bearer of bad news, but this game is simply bare bones when it comes to added extras. There really is only one added extra to speak of, with that being the scatter icon. Admittedly, the level of free spins that links to this symbol are actually unlimited, but that simply isn’t enough in our eyes. We except wild and scatter symbols as a minimum in any modern online casino game, so in that sense Tasty Wild simply falls below par.
Sugar, Candy, Sweets, and More
When you break down the features of this game, things really start to tilt towards “disappointing” territory. So, for that reason we probably wouldn’t recommend that you start playing any games that proclaim to be similar to this Spinomenal release. However, we do have a soft spot for online slot games that carry and overly sweet theme. Thankfully, for those that also enjoy such an experience, we do have some rather “tasty” recommendations. Sugar Shack, Candy Land, Candy Bars, Candy Dreams, Sugar Rush Winter, and Sugar Kisses all carry sweet based tones, so they are certainly worth keeping a special eye out for.
Tasty Spin Comes with a Bitter Aftertaste!
Spinomenal is a developer that is certainly on the up, but with this real cash release it seems that the level of progress has sadly been halted somewhat. In theme and look, there is certainly a level of polish about the game that’s worth praising; it’s just that matters tend to unravel from there, arguably unravelling quickly. The base game is incredibly dull, while the bonus features (outside of a pumped up scatter symbol) are pretty much non-existent. Overall, the premise of Tasty Win is actually pretty good – as everyone loves sugar and sweets at the end of the day – it’s just every other aspect of the game that stops it from being a hit.
