Royal Banquet Online Slot Machine Review
Transport yourself back to Tudor England where you’ll be enjoying a feast fit for a Royal with this slot from Saucify. Here you’ll find the King holding a leg of chicken, a knight with a sausage, a monk feasting on some grapes as the princess (who is presumably watching her waistline) stands by holding a rose, whilst flagons of ale, cuts of finest meat, bread and cheese and gold and silver goblets full of wine are served at the tables.
This slot is set against the backdrop of the banquet room itself, with a stone floor and coloured drapes adorning the ceiling. The symbols are drawn in a cartoon style and feature some animation when forming part of a win line – for example, the King will greedily attack his chicken leg. Graphically it’s not the best slot you’ll find - look for 3D Slots if graphics are your thing - although the cartoon element does give it some charm and humour – the startled, slightly plucked chicken perhaps being the funniest symbol of all. All the time while playing you are accompanied by a Tudor tune, which adds to the theme of the slot. Games from Saucify always look great on mobile screens, and this one is no exception.
There are two features at this slot which are both activated by their respective scatter symbols – the free spins round and the bonus game.
Set up and Play for Royal Banquet Slot
This slot has 5 reels and twenty win lines, although the number of win lines is changeable by simply clicking on the ‘lines’ button. To set the total stake for each spin you’ll choose both the coin amount and the coin value. You’ll gain a win at this slot by landing consecutive symbols from left to right on a win line, starting with the leftmost reel. All of the ‘human’ symbols pay out when landing just 2 in a row, while you’ll need 3 in a row of all of the other symbols.
The top paying symbol in the game is the princess, who wins you 5,000x your coin amount when landing 5 in a row, followed by the monk and the knight who win you 1,500x and 1,000x respectively. The other symbols will gain you wins of between 750x and 100x when landing 5 in a row.
The King, actually named ‘King Eric Eat-A-Lot’ is the wild symbol at the slot and will substitute for any other symbol apart from the scatters.
The auto play feature is a good one, offering you the chance to set the number of spins manually or choosing one of the pre-set buttons, where you can set the slot in motion for 10, 25, 50 or 100 spins.
The jester is the first scatter symbol at the slot and should you land this three or more times across any of the reels the free spins round will be activated. This is joined by the chicken symbol and landing this three times on any reels from left to right activates the bonus round.
Royal Banquet Slot Features
The number of free spins you’ll gain is dependent upon the number of scatter symbols that were landed to activate the feature. Mostly you’ll gain 10 free spins for landing the scatter three times, but should it appear 4 or 5 times, you’ll earn 15 or 30 spins respectively. During this round, you’ll be able to re-activate the feature should the scatter symbols appear again.
The Test the Broth feature round takes you away to another screen featuring a large bowl of soup. Use your spoon to test one of the five ingredients and you’ll be awarded a random prize amount.
Royal Banquet Slot Conclusion
There are a great number of slots with a historical theme, but it would be fair to say that Saucify have mixed it up a little here by making the theme very specific and adding some humour, which makes for a nice slot. It’s not the greatest looking game, especially when you compare it to some of the more cinematic slots you’ll find in the industry, and it also doesn’t feature a large Jackpot, both of which might deter some players. However, for a fun half an hour where a win is never too far away, this slot might be ideal for inexperienced players.
