Electron Slots
Fans of high-tech and futuristic, sci-fi worlds are in for a real treat with Electron. This newly released video slot game by Saucify is indeed an adaptation of the famous Tron universe.
If you have seen the movies, and especially the most recent iteration of the franchise, you already know that the story of Tron is based on the adventures of a group of humans trapped within a computer and desperately trying to get out, back into the real world. In this slot game adaptation too, you can expect a lot of flashy lights and action as you spin the reels – not to mention the many Bonuses available.
Read our complete review of Electron to get better acquainted with this futuristic universe and the many secrets it hides…
Inside the Computer
The developers at Saucify did a great job recreating the unique aesthetics of the Tron movie franchise, psychedelic lights and flashy explosions included.
The reels of the game are set within a frame that resembles a computer’s motherboard. A seemingly endless virtual landscape made of yellow and blue code lines stretches beyond the reel set. You will feel like you are standing in the middle of a vast virtual space.
Saucify managed to faithfully reproduce the universe of Tron, and fans will immediately recognise it. Let’s move on to the gameplay to see what your gaming options are.
A Whole Virtual World at your Fingertips
Electron’s gameplay offers players a great deal of freedom when it comes to customising their next spin, which is of course great news.
The five spinning reels of the game offer four symbols on each at the end of the turn, and 40 paylines available in total. Check out the command panels at the bottom of the game screen to start setting up your game. You can easily modify the coin size, the number of activated paylines and the size of your wager. You can bet up to five coins per spin, with a value ranging from 0.01 to 0.25 credits per coin, according to your own settings. Hit Spin to start betting, or Bet Max to activate all paylines at once, if you are feeling lucky.
As always, the Autospin function lets you place bet after bet automatically, as the reels spin on their own for as long as you want them to. Whichever game mode you prefer, you winnings will land directly in your credit total as you go. Keep in mind that a bigger wager is a bigger risk, but that it also yields larger potential wins.
Colourful, Futuristic Symbols
The reel symbols of Electron play an important role when it comes to the game’s atmosphere itself as well. All of them are designed to resemble artefacts from the Tron universe.
Even the classic card symbols have been redesigned and now look like futuristic machines. They appear often on the reels, while their payouts are relatively low. Combinations pay both from left to right and from right to left, triggering impressing animations on the reels.
The rest of the paytable contains more valuable symbols such as Dice and computer parts that can bring some very interesting cash rewards should they line up on activated paylines. But Electron also has a few extra features in store for players to enjoy.
High-Tech Bonuses
The two last symbols of Electron bring more than just cash to the table, so it might be a good idea to familiarise yourself with them right from the start.
The golden Wild symbols can replace any of the icons mentioned before to give you an extra chance at scoring one or more winning combinations. Wilds can also appear stacked and cover entire reels at a time.
The Scatter pays with Free Spins regardless of its position on the reels. Win up to eight free games with a x2 Multiplier attached for an extra chance at winning big without risking anything at all. Reels 2, 3 and 4 can also deliver Expanding Wilds during the Free Spins, which also double the value of any combination you may score thanks to them.
A Faithful Adaptation
Electron gives players a unique chance to dive into one of their favourite films and discover its universe from the inside. The highly customisable gameplay is a guarantee for hours of fun on the reels.
The symbols in electron are not as varied as in other games, but minimalism is part of the Tron universe as well so it makes sense to keep the paytable relatively small, in a way.
