Zombiezee Money Slot Machine
If brains are your kind of meal, and shambling about with your bones exposed sounds like how you get through your day to day, then Zombiezee Money is the perfect real cash slot for you. It brings all the playfulness of animated zombies, but inside a 3x5 matrix that has extra games and a bonus round.
The funky muted colours of this slot translate the spoof horror theme of the entire game; you’re going to get eaten alive, but you’ll be chuckling to yourself as it happens. That can’t be half bad, much better than the gore you see in The Walking Dead. What this means, on a gameplay and aesthetic level, is that it’s more user friendly, allowing for more gamers to savour the humour of this title.
We’re breaking through the earth and grabbing at whatever limbs we can find, in the hope that we can get some multipliers on our way to the top of the foodchain. Care to join us?
A Varied Menu
We love slot machines that have stimulating paytables, and we’re not just referring to the variance offered, but the way they offer it. Allow us to explain. Too many slot machines these days have a fancy set of graphics in the main body of the game - animated characters, bells and whistles every time you win, and then what do they have?
Icons that are nothing but card values. In modern day slots, card suits seem out of place, and the people over at Roundstone International must have been of the same disposition as us, for they haven’t included any in this activity.
That means that you get eight zombierific symbols to watch dance and spin into view when you set the game into action. As you might have thought to yourselves already, eight icons isn’t very big for a slot of a standard size, which of course has an impact on the variety offered here.
You’re not going to get a different experience with every spin, but a rather predictable playthrough more times than not. What is more, the volatility here appears to be very low, which is great for us, but bad for our growing boredom; win, after win, after win gets very dull. Believe you and me.
Head Like a Football
A particularly round-headed zombie is your way of getting an extra spin in, and yes you read that right, spin not spins. This chap is the second other ghoul on the grid, and due to his recognisable goofy face, you won’t be able to miss him; he can appear in just a match of two, but that won’t get you the spin. Only three or more will, but fear not, should you miss out on the game you can get the cash reward of between 5 and 100 credits.
Which One is Which?
The gamble feature in Zombiezee Money is brilliant, we can’t state that enough, and yet it’s one of the simplest double or nothing options we’ve been presented with. Instead of being asked which colour the next card will be, you’re asked to pick between two identical zombies. There’s no difference between their looks, but there’s a difference in what they give you - select the wrong one and you get nothing and the round ends. However, get it right and you get a x2 multiplier.
We never got the multiplier once, so whether the round continues on whenever you have a winning streak, we can’t say, but it’s good fun all the same. Should you not wish to risk your funds, you can cash out and go along your merry way.
What’s Missing?
For a zombie, you’d say their functioning brain, but in this slot, you’d say a decent control panel. There’s the basics of the spin widget, bet per line and so on, but there’s no maximum bet button or an autoplay option, making this a very tedious set of controls.
Without any means of jumping the queue, you have to manually click your way to the top betting amount, and while that’s only 45 credits, it’s annoying to have to do so. Furthermore, who doesn’t enjoy the option of going hands free? For a slot machine not to have it is a flaw in our book, and a major one.
