For the most part at least, many bingo and gambling websites don’t appear to have that much of a charitable inclination. These websites are about making as much money as possible- both for the members, avidly gaming their evenings away, and for the owners. By now the Pink Ribbon in question is known throughout most of the world as a symbol of the fight against breast cancer. This is one of the biggest health concerns we currently face, and while you could argue that this is one of the diseases that is rarely out of the spotlight, the fact that other conditions don’t have their own bingo donor should not detract from the good that is being done by Pink Ribbon Bingo for this cause.

Ethical point made, let’s move on to the actual site itself. When the homepage first opens up you’ll quickly realise that this is definitely an all-singing, all-dancing variety. Or maybe that should be all-flying. The main image shows a happy, smiling woman, wearing a superhero outfit with the iconic Pink Ribbon emblazoned across her chest. She’s moving in a way that suggests taking off, whilst tiny animated details bring the background to life, and accentuate the glistening gold of the sign that reads ‘Deposit £10, Play With £30’. It’s a busy, but well designed sight to behold, and one that we’re really rather taken by.

Selling Points

Below all that, you’ll see four box outs, each advertising a different selling point. The first and, arguably, most important, is the link to the breast cancer charity website. Click on this and you’ll be taken directly to the cause’s URL where you can learn more about the important work being done to try and one day hopefully beat the disease. Next to that, there’s a click through for one of the Progressive Jackpot games. After that, you’ll see a click link for Promotions, and, finally, Free Games.

We’re really quite pleased with all this information, as it immediately makes it clear that you don’t just have to play bingo here – there are other games. Add to this the fact that you can also see there are options to play for free, and quickly it becomes quite obvious that there is a lot going on in this website. One of the unique parts of Pink Ribbon Bingo is the Team Bingo option, which is a nice fit for this website considering the solidarity and camaraderie involved in raising money for causes such as breast cancer. Many people host sponsored social events or sign up for 10K runs with other people for support, and this is almost the same. Except with online bingo, of course.

This works in a rather innovative way, too. Basically players can either join forces, or be assigned to a team. Then when each individual team member plays a game, their efforts go towards increasing the overall score of the entire team. This means that you don’t necessarily all need to be signed in at the same time to make sure you’re staying in the competition. Winners are announced at the end of the month’s Team Bingo play, and awarded bonus points for coming in first (gold), second (silver), or third (bronze).

More Ways to Win

Few other sites, if any, have as good promotions on, or indeed as good quality bingo, whilst also giving you the peace of mind that anything you lose isn’t just being sucked into some dodgy guy’s bank account. By ensuring that some profit goes to a really important charity, everyone is a winner. Unless you lose every game, but that’s not the website’s fault.
