Does the queen play bingo? Probably. Every other woman in Britain seems to, so it wouldn’t be surprising if her majesty were to. That’s one for you to mull over as you make your way around Palace Bingo, a site set up in 2017 which draws its inspiration from Buckingham Palace. The castle which graces its homepage is more like a fairy tale castle admittedly, but its mascot is a monarch who could pass for a young Queen Elizabeth and who is pictured holding a corgi wearing a monocle, just like the dogs the queen favours.
Palace Bingo is a cleanly designed site with a pleasing colour scheme and large buttons on its top menu. It’s clearly been designed with a mobile audience in mind. Crowns appear as icons throughout the site and the snippet of text towards the bottom ofthe homepage assumes the tone of a queen addressing her subjects. It contains a lot of exclamation marks, because the operators of this site like their exclamation marks, deploying them at every available opportunity.
Palace Bingo is operated by Jumpman Gaming Limited, a company with hundreds or more likely thousands of bingo sites to their name. It’s reached a stage where there are probably more bingo sites than there are bingo players in the UK, and companies like Jumpman Gaming. Cozygames Management and Cassava Enterprises are the reason why. Palace Bingo was launched in 2017 and isn’t a bad looking site, even if its content mirrors that of all its sister sites.
Jumpman Gaming are based in Alderney and are licensed there as well as holding a gaming license issued by the UK Gambling Commission. Their gaming servers are located at a secure hosting facility in Guernsey which doesn’t seem like a big deal but must be a big deal because it’s something that Jumpman Gaming go to great lengths to emphasise on all their websites. If you require customer support while using the site, you can get hold of a member ofthe customer support team by email, live chat or WhatsApp. The latter two options are staffed from 9:30am to 6pm Monday to Friday.
For reasons that are never explained, Jumpman Gaming aren’t a fan of alternative payment options. In fact they might be the only bingo and casino operator in the UK – and the rest ofthe world for that matter – that don’t accept payment via Skrill, Neteller or bank transfer. Instead, you can deposit funds into your playing account via Visa Debit, Visa Credit, Visa Electron, Maestro, MasterCard or Solo. While it’s great that they accept common credit and debit cards, it’s extremely odd that they’ve never seen fit to give their customers a greater range of options.
Your minimum deposit option the first time you make a deposit is £5 and £10 after that. The minimum withdrawal amount is £30. Unfortunately, funds take an inordinately long amount to clear. The fact that it takes 48 hours for withdrawal requests to be processed isn’t an issue, as most bingo sites and casinos insist on this, but the fact it then takes 7-14 days for funds to appear in your account after this is insane. What are Jumpman Gaming doing in this time, sending your funds to Nigeria and back by post so that an African prince can check that everything is legit? The mind boggles. If you do happen to win at Palace Bingo then, don’t count on seeing your funds any time soon.
Jumpman Gaming love their wheels. Once upon a time, they stumbled upon the idea of using a bonus wheel to reward players every time they make a deposit and they have doggedly persevered with this idea ever since, everywhere. At some oftheir sites, this wheel dispenses up to £2,500 in bonus cash, while here the maximum payout is in free spins – you can win up to 500 ofthem theoretically. It would be great if it was possible to ascertain whether anyone has actually ever won anything like this by spinning the wheel. In all likelihood, it’s probably the case the most punters will have ‘won’ the minimum possible 5 spins.

The slots those spins are eligible for use on are the same slots that they’re always on: Temple of Isis, Shaman’s Dream and Fluffy Favourites. There might be newer and better slots out there but Jumpman Gaming won’t hear a word of it, because to acknowledge as much would oblige them to update their several hundred-odd websites and that’s something they don’t want to have to ever consider. Deposit at least £10 when you join to claim the spin the wheel bonus. There’s a 40x wagering requirement before any bonus cash can be withdrawn, so don’t count on every seeing any of it, and even if you do succeed in withdrawing it, remember, it will take up to 16 days until that cash actually goes into your account.
One ofthe oddest things about Palace Bingo is that there isn’t actually a page on the site dedicated to bingo or slots. Instead, it’s left to players to guess what kind of games are offered here, save for the thumbnail images of four slots: Fluffy Favourites, Irish Luck, Sugar Train and Piggy Payout. What about other slots? Or instant win games? Or even the odd casino game like roulette or blackjack? There’s no way to tell. In fact you can’t even tell what sort of bingo is available here without signing up. You’ve got no way of knowing how often games are hosted, how much tickets cost or how much you stand to win. What a helpful site.
Palace Bingo is a reasonably good looking site that’s virtually devoid of useful information. Imagine creating a cake baking website that doesn’t contain a single recipe of picture of a cake. That’s pretty much what Jumpman Gaming have done here, crafting a bingo website that doesn’t bother revealing anything about the game itself. Sure, if you’ve played at at all their other cookie cutter sites you can deduce that it’ll be more ofthe same here – 75-ball and 90-ball bingo – but if you’re new to this brand, you’d have no clue whatsoever.
Then again, if you were new to this brand there’s a lot you wouldn’t know about Jumpman Gaming, like the fact that they hold onto your winnings for a fortnight and don’t let you deposit with anything other than card. Or the fact that they’ve been offering the same spins on the same slots for years and no amount of responsive design and pretty pictures of cartoon corgis can fix that. You deserve a better bingo site than this and you’ll find one if you look about. There’s way better out there. Palace Bingo looks the part, but appearances can be deceptive. Beneath the surface, there’s nothing new or entertaining here.
