When you eat and sleep something, usually you also breathe it. Not so in the case of this particular online gambling den, although we’re not necessarily sure that’s really a problem. The fact is, Eat Sleep Bingo, established in 2010, is a decent bingo site, and one which gives good impressions right from the off.
The homepage, you see, itself isn’t looking too bad when it first loads up. OK, so the green hues are a little bit same-y (literally, there is green everywhere), but it’s far from the most garish we have ever seen. In fact, it’s actually relatively appealing and rather tasteful up against so many others we have reviewed in our time doing this job.
In terms of details on the homepage, again there are some real plus points. As per usual, the main ticker in the centre of the screen is basically used as an advertising hoarding for ongoing deals and offers that the website has for new sign ups, but it’s what is below this that’s the real talking point. A series of box outs contain some vital information for those who might be considering opening an account with the website.
The first of which is a Winners area, which is populated with the latest, greatest, and biggest winners from recent games. Why is this important?, you may ask. Put simply, if you know how much people are winning at a glance, then you can make a decision as to whether a membership is worth bothering with. Next to this, another box proudly advertises the website’s mobile offering, which again is a lot better than many others – which seem to think mobile is either not for them (shock horror) or not worth drawing attention to (rather stupid). The final two boxes are used to showcase Promotions that can be redeemed via social media activity (we’ll come to these later), andthe in-house Blog (another point we will come to).
Below all that, there are a series of Top Games shown, which aren’t bingo related- this is also a key aspect as it proves to you that there are more games available than bingo alone. As a final point, like so many bingo websites there is a row of menu options at the top of the homepage, which includes Bingo, Games, Promotions, Winners, Mobile, Contact, and Download, again helping you get an idea as to the overall offering on this site.
If you click on the Bingo menu option, you will immediately be taken to an area of the site dominated by a lengthy bingo table. This is useful, as it offers a lot of information about the type of bingo being played. At the top of the table there’s a row of options to click on, but confusingly these do not actually have anything to do with bingo, other than the Tourney option, which brings up details of any tournaments that are ongoing.
In terms of the bingo table itself, the information provided includes what type of game it is – 90-ball, 80-ball, 75-ball, 30-ball, 50-ball (a decent selection by any standards) – along with how many players are currently involved, the price to buy in, the overall jackpot and win amount, plus- perhaps most importantly- whether the game has begun, and, if so, how long there is left to play, thus preventing you from joining a game that’s about to finish, and wasting your money.
The third option on the Bingo screen menu row is also accessed by clicking on the Games option on the home screen menu row. Which is a little confusing but nevertheless does make some sense when you think about it. Digressions aside, clicking on this option on the bingo screen menu – Slots – will bring up a list of slots games that are available to play. Refreshingly, there are actually quite a high number of slots here, far more than we’re used to seeing on a standard bingo website, and whilst these may not be the most advanced on the market, they are decent enough to remain competitive overall.
In addition to all that has been mentioned above, Eat Sleep Bingo also has a Casino section, and a Scratch area. The first of which has a limited but not offensively small selection of bingo games. This includes Aces & Faces, 10s or Better, European and Classic Blackjack, and Keno. Not a bad choice, nevertheless the lack of roulette and poker is notable and something we can’t help but feel is a massive oversight- these are our favourites, andthe same goes for many people, and so they should really be included.
Scratch games work a bit like slots in that they are instant win, instant gratification, quick play titles. Again, there aren’t that many, but that’s not a huge criticism. We often find that scratch titles are an afterthought, and chances are the majority of players will not be flocking to a given website because of the scratch games on offer.
As is standard practice for both casino and bingo websites, Eat Sleep Bingo offers a range of promotional offers and deals, both aimed at new players and established veterans. Newcomers, for example, will receive a whopping 500% match of their first deposit, 350% on the second deposit, and 300% on the third. These are far higher numbers than we’re used to seeing, and as such full marks to whoever decided to set the figures at this impressive level.
Type | Amount | Match | Playthrough | Claim |
---|---|---|---|---|
First Deposit | £50 | 500% | 4x | Claim Bonus |
Second Deposit | £35 | 350% | 4x | Claim Bonus |
Third Deposit | £30 | 300% | 4x | Claim Bonus |
In addition to this, there’s also a separate casino bonus, in addition to plenty of other temptations for those with accounts already open. Cashback on every deposit, weekly £500 jackpots, a referral service that sees people rewarded with gifts and money when they bring in their mates to the community. Finally, there is also a stellar loyalty system, whereby you will be given rewards incrementally, the more you play.
Overall, then, we are very impressed with Eat Sleep Bingo. And for several reasons. For starters, we love the design and layout- information is where you want it to be and this means details are clearly understood. Secondly, there are several types of bingo on offer, and a good deal more than many other websites. Add to this a fantastic range of slots, plus a casino area, not to mention scratch games, and you’ve already got us very much on side. This is before anyone mentions the great deals on offer in the promotions section, which just about seals it for us- a definite thumbs up recommendation.
