While the monkeys are the stars of this theme, it is a full jungle theme including parrots, bananas, trees, flowers and letter symbols constructed from bamboo. We even noted that the Wild symbol features an exotic Rafflesia flower, which is actually a fungus which grows on the forest floor and some strains of which give off the scent of rotting meat. Exotic indeed!
The sounds here are also quintessentially jungle, with cicadas, birds and other ambient jungle sounds with the landing of the reels being accompanied by the chink of bamboo hitting bamboo. The background is a view from above the jungle, with trees and vines visible to either side. We have to say the theme is considerably less cheesy than we anticipated; yes there’s a banana symbol but otherwise this is more jungle realism than it is naff monkey antics.
The Technical Stuff
