Treasure Island Slot Machine
If you like a bit of swashbuckling fun, you’ll love Treasure Island from Espresso.
With more booty than the Kardashian clan combined, you’ll have the chance to spin the reels in this online video slot for cash prizes.
But will you be collecting plenty of pieces of eight in this pirate-themed adventure? Here’s a look at Treasure Island by Espresso with everything you need to know to play.
Welcome Landlubbers!
As the game of Treasure Island is revealed, you’ll be transported back into a time of high sea antics, smugglers and best of all, treasure.
Graphically the game is not particularly complex, but it’s an enjoyable theme which never once wavers throughout. Look closely and you’ll see the backdrop is in fact a faded treasure map but the question remains, will you be able to find where X marks the spot?
On the reels you’ll find all of the symbols relating to pirates that you can think of from long curving cutlasses to cannons, jewels, anchors and of course the famous skull and crossbones.
A classic game of video slots, Treasure Island by Espresso provides a fun twist on traditional play.
Track Your Treasure!
Any good pirate will be able to tell you that there’s no point chasing after something unless you’re sure there’s treasure at the end of it, so before you spend a single coin, check out the paytable to see what’s on offer.
You can navigate your way to this by clicking on the question mark button on the bottom left of the reels.
Once in the paytable, the first screen you’ll see is a list of the prizes on offer and what you have to do to win. You’ll need to spin at least three matching for the lower value symbols, while the very highest symbols hand out prizes for landing even one! Of course, the more matching symbols you have the greater the potential prize will be.
At the bottom of the screen you can click on the arrow buttons to show the relevant prizes for the number of coins you are playing with. The more coins you bet per line, the bigger the prize will be - but beware! There’s no guarantee that you’ll win and you could end up with a hefty loss. Will you take the risk? The choice is yours.
Swords at the Ready
Once you’re ready to commence battle, click on the spin button on the bottom right of your screen. It’s not labelled with “spin” but the familiar rotating icon will be recognised immediately by regular video slots players.
There are five reels in Treasure Island with 18 paylines. You can bet between one and five coins per line and alter the value of each coin between the minimum of 0.01 and the maximum of 2.00. The number and value of the coins on each payline has to be identical so you can’t just pick your favourite lines to bet more on.
As well as the regular prizes, there’s a jackpot on each of the reels. If this bonus falls onto a winning symbol, you’ll instantly get the jackpot for that reel - it’s that easy! Keep an eye out for the silver coin because this could increase your jackpot win even further.
Other than the jackpot, there are plenty of other symbols to help increase the chances of a win.
The wild symbol is represented by the pirate which can either win a prize on its own – with the highest payout at 12,500 for matching five – as well as multiplying the winnings on other lines. If the wild symbol appears from the second reel onwards several of the other symbols will have any winning payouts doubled.
There’s also a scatter symbol, represented by the cartoon parrot; this hands out a multiplier of between two and 100. To qualify for the highest multiplier of 100, you’ll need to spin five scatter symbols on the reels.
Finally, if all of that wasn’t enough, there are also two separate bonus games both of which provide multipliers to crank up the winnings on the bonus prize.
Plenty of Swag
Treasure Island by Espresso really lives up to its promise by delivering a whole host of different prizes and games for the chance to win. With multipliers, wild symbols, scatters, bonus games and a special bonus reel, it’s not the simplest of games on the market. Beginners may therefore find it easier to start off with a less complex game and work their way up, but intermediate and more advanced players will love this one.
