The Beginning Of A Great Night Out
Dancing Fever takes place in a popular nightclub, where all the cool kids flock to on a Saturday night to have fun.
The reels are framed by two giant sets of speakers, right under several flashy disco balls. A giant mixing table occupies the lower part of the game screen, together with a colourful dance floor. The graphics of the game are nothing to shout for, but they are still more than decent and the retro vibe they give off will not fail to seduce many players.
The music is rather discrete and mostly covered by the busy chatter of the club goers and the clinking of their glasses. The result is a colourful and semi realistic mix, with a definite old-school feel to it.
A Closer Look At The Gameplay
Dancing Fever is played on five spinning, with a maximum of 15 paylines running across them. As it is the case with any respectable video slot game, you have the option to customise your game settings as much as you want.
In order to do so, you will have to access the settings menu located in the upper left-hand corner of the game screen. Click the Gear icon to open the menu, and use the different (+) and (-) buttons there to let you adjust your bet per line and the number of paylines you wish to activate. Keep in mind that the size of your future winnings will depend on both the nature of the symbols that land on activated paylines and the size of your initial bet. So remember that the more you bet, the greater your potential rewards become! Hit the Spin button on the main screen when you are ready; the reels will start spinning instantly.
After every win, you can click the Gamble button to play a double-or-nothing mini game; guess correctly the colour of a hidden card to double your wins! Tread carefully though, as your first mistake will also be your last. Another interesting option is the Autoplay feature, which is on many Booming produced games like Cosmic Fruit. Click the corresponding button to let the reels spin loose for a predetermined number of rounds. This is the best way to enjoy the game without interruptions, as your bet settings will be saved and applied consistently throughout the automatic spins. You can come back to regular mode at any time, should you change your mind.
Party Time Menu
The paytable of Dancing Fever contains ten basic symbols, which is plenty to ensure a fun and exciting game! These reel symbols can be split into two different categories.
The first group consists of classic card symbols, ranging from number 9 and all the way up to the Ace. Their low payout might be discouraging, but remember that these first symbols appear frequently on the reels, making the possibility of multiple winning combinations even more likely!
The remaining icons are items or symbols that could easily be found in a nightclub; a Disco Ball, a Stage, a mysterious Dancer and the New York City Skyline. Things get more serious here, with higher payouts and therefore higher stakes! Keep your eyes peeled for these symbols at all times if you want to win big.
Final Dance Moves
The last two symbols in Dancing Fever bring some extra special features on the dance floor, and knowing how to use them properly is a must!
The Microphone is a Scatter symbol, which means that it triggers rewards regardless of its position on the reels. Three or more Microphones not only award cash prizes, but also Free Spins! The best way to make some extra cash without risking anything in the first place.
The female Dancer is the Wild card of the game, able to replace any other symbols besides the Scatter. The fourth reel is entirely covered in Wilds, with the occasion Scatter, to make sure that you get a chance at winning big with every spin!
Retro Vibes And Classic Moves
Dancing Fever does not bring much originality to the table. Its features and graphics are classic and not very impressive, with the exception of the fun Wild reel. Keep that in mind when making your choice!
