Good Girl Bad Girl Slot Machine
It took me a little while to ‘tune in’ to this slot, which has some unique complexities – even by the standards of modern slot software releases. It looks amazing, with 3D graphics and 2 ‘hostesses’ floating either side of the reels in 3D rendering. You can play this game in 2 different modes. If you choose to play as the ‘Good Girl’, you’ll get regular small wins. If you instead choose the ‘Bad Girl’, you will get fewer wins – though they will be larger (higher variance play). You can also simply double your lines and play both sides together! There is a break out ‘Money Wheel’ bonus game, a pick-em game for each side and an amazing double after win game to, which is worth playing just to watch the animations.
Symbols are a mix of good and bad clichés; a fluffy kitten and a pitchfork share the reels with the full moon and a halo. When the symbols make a win, one of them will pop out and become animated – again these effects are way beyond what most slot makers are capable of doing. Sounds include the demonic laugh of the bad girl, and ‘yessss’ of the good girl. There are thunder and screams for that extra bad effect (with harps for the good side).
Bonuses are identical on each side, though the graphics are themed. These include a wheel which can lead to free spins and a game where you choose from safe or risky options when picking boxes.
Choose Your Own Setup
You get a choice of whether to play 15 or 30 win lines for this game. There are 15 lines for the good side, which go from left to right as usual. The 15 lines for the bad side go from right to left (which takes a little getting used to). There is a toggle for these, so you can switch between them on every spin if you wish. By setting this toggle in the middle, you are playing both sides at once for 30 lines per spin. You can spin from 1c per line, so playing both need not break the bank. There is an auto-play available which lets you check your setup before confirming the number of spins you’ll take.
Wild symbols give you the biggest single prize in this game. These appear after you land a halo (good side) or pitch-fork (bad side), they will come with multipliers of up to 4x. 5 of the red wilds get you 1000 coins for 5 and 150 for 4. 5 of the blue wilds get you 500 coins for 5 and 150 for 4.
Regular wins start with the girls, which have the same prizes of 360 for 5, 90 for 4 and 20 for 3. The good and bad cats then get 180 for 5, and the playing card symbols (which are also themed) make up the smaller wins.
There are also money wheel symbols that appear on lines 1, 3 and 5 and you’ll trigger the money wheel bonus game with all 3.
Good Girl Bad Girl Bonus Games
There are 3 bonus games you can enjoy. The money wheel game takes you away from the reels to either a fiery pit or a lush garden. While the graphics (and you hostess) are different, the idea is the same. You’ll spin a wheel, which stops to award you either a cash amount – or a number of free spins.
If you land the halo and pitchfork together you’ll get the pick-em bonus. There are both good and bad versions, though this is essentially the same game. You’ll get a choice of 4 boxes, 2 have a glow (or flame) and are ‘safe’, which means a smaller win and guarantee of hitting the next level. 2 are not safe, these have bigger wins (on average), though some of them will also stop the game with a ‘Collect’ sign.
Finally, the gamble after win (there is a small ‘gamble’ button to the right of the ‘spin’). This takes you to a cloud, where the girls spin a coin with good / bad on either side. Their reactions on winning and losing are worth the gamble – as long as you are happy to take the increased volatility.
Is this a Good or Bad Slot?
This is a very playable slot as well as being a visual treat. The twin hostesses and contrasting good and evil styles make for a very entertaining game. Both of the bonus games are very well produced, with the Money Wheel game in particular standing out. I prefer to play both sides at once (this is only 30 lines after all).
One of my favorite things about this game is that you can choose your own volatility. If you want to try it out, then give it a shot at Slots.lv Casino in the US or Guts Casino for non-US players.
