This unusual layout suits the nature of tiki symbols, which in real life are often stacked vertically, like totem poles, with one macabre phizog perched on top of another. It also allows for expanded wilds, which make use of the increased vertical real estate. While some players will resent the wasted screen space on the right hand side, most should be able to appreciate the benefits of this for a high pay line game such as Tiki Treasures.

Game Controls

There’s a Main Menu tucked away in the top left that will allow you to access a complete playing guide and to toggle sound effects, high quality animations and graphics on or off. Everything else lies on the bottom right of the screen, starting with the credit value which ranges from 0.02 to 2.00.

The game’s 100 pay lines can’t be adjusted, but the bet multiplier can be set between 1 and 5. The other noteworthy symbol that will surface in Tiki Treasures is the stacked wild, so named because it stacks on top of the other tiki symbols to form an eye-catching tower. Wilds will substitute for any of the other symbols except for scatter.

When you’re collecting the 5 free spins you’ve earned via the scatter symbols, there’s the possibility of increasing this number further; land 3 scatters on the central reels at this stage and you’ll be awarded another 5 free spins.

Tiki Treasures is a great game that’s a lot of fun to play. The graphics are beautiful, the animations are as superb as all Toptrend Gaming slots and the features are nifty.

The only criticism to be made is that the narrow layout of the reels means this game isn’t really suited to small screens. In every other respect, Tiki Treasures passes with flying multi colors.
