Texas Hold’em Switch

The free Texas Hold’em Switch table game is the next evolution of Ultimate Texas Hold’em, so knowing how to play this table game is pivotal. Ultimate Texas Hold’em is a poker based online casino and land based game that players can raise at one time, any time during gameplay. What makes this game so special is the fact that there’s plenty of action and money-making opportunities whilst playing.

There’s nothing worse than sitting at the dealer table and getting two eight of suite, but with free Texas Hold’em Switch, you can switch your two cards when you get them. Read our review to see the basic rules on how to play, the best way to win and if it’s worth the hassle.

Rules on The Game

Just like Ultimate Texas Hold’em, this table game is played with a single deck of 52 cards. Players sitting at the table must make an equal bet on the ante and the blind – but you can make optional bets on trips. Two cards are dealt to the player and the dealer and are kept face down – the player can take a look at their cards or make a bet that is equal to 3 or 4 times the ante. The centre of the table is where you will find the community cards – once you have placed your bets, you can turn over 3 of these cards.

If players have looked at their cards previously, they can now place a bet that is equal to 2 times his ante. If players have previously placed a bet, he won’t be allowed to make further bets. The two final community cards are turned over now, if the player has previously checked twice, he has to make a play bet equal to his ante or fold – this results in him losing his ante and blind bets. Again, if a player has previously raised, he cannot bet again. The dealer and player have to make the best possible hand using any combination of their own 2 cards and the five community cards on the table, but the dealer will need at least a pair of cards to open.

In More Detail

Once you have taken your seat at the table and made the two bets – ante and switch, you have an optional side bet which is a bonus bet. The dealer will deal the cards to the players and put the 5 community cards into the centre – these are also known as the flop. The payer to the right of the table will start the betting and the ability to check the cards is what makes this game unique, because if you don’t like the two cards in front of you, you simply slide them into the square and you will be dealt two new cards. Placing the bonus bet is a nice addition, because even if you fold and lose your cash on the main game itself, you can still win on the bonus. At the end of the game, all cards are turned over including the dealers, now, if the player has a better pair than the dealer, they win. Whether the dealer beats you or not, you will win real cash on hands of three of a kind up to a royal flush, if you play the bonus bet.

Analyse the Stats

With Texas Hold’em Switch, there are 52 possible outcomes of each hand, which makes things very unpredictable indeed. This table game is more suited to high roller players who know how to play, so if you are new to playing, we suggest you play for fun at online casinos to understand the various hands and how to beat the dealer. The aim of the game is simple – as always, you need to beat the dealer to win. The inclusion of the switch give players more control of their hand, but it doesn’t always work in their favour.
