Fire Burner Slots
Fire Burner is the name of a flame-filled 5-reel video slot from Spielo. Despite the incendiary title, though, this is a rather basic and certainly familiar casino game, particularly as its symbols are almost exclusively composed of fruit: y’know, cherries, blackberries, oranges. Traditional fruit machines are something of a dying breed in the online gaming market, but there are still developers out there keen to relive the glories of the past.
Fire Burner features 15 paylines on which players can seek to find matching combinations. The high-volatility game includes wilds, scatters and a fruitful progressive jackpot, which is linked with four separate titles. The game also has a pick-a-box bonus, which gives players an extra way to win.
The Betting Particulars
The game, which is available at a host of online casinos powered by Boss Media, can be played with various coin sizes, stretching from 0.01 to 10, and up to 10 coins can be wagered per line. Each denomination is linked to a separate jackpot, and all jackpot links have three separate levels. These are known as the Jackpot, Super Jackpot and Grand Jackpot.
As you might expect, the most significant jackpot is available at the one-credit coin size, although there’s something else you need to consider: to be eligible for the progressive, you must play at maximum bet. Since the game has a max bet of 150 coins, you’ll have to therefore stake that much per spin. High rollers might consider 150 chump change, but to the average gamer, it’s quite a bit of dough!
The other bet levels do offer some sweet jackpots, but they’re not a patch on the one offered at max bet.
Visuals
Fire Burner has a 5x3 grid, which is populated almost exclusively by fruit symbols. The icons are not photorealistic, but look like fruit machine symbols of old. There are no BARs, but there are cherries, lemons, blackberries, cherries and oranges. There’s also a jackpot icon and a female devil.
The Base Game
In the regular game, the biggest jackpot is 10,000 coins and is won by hitting five of the female devils. The next best pay is 5,000 coins, for five cherries, and third highest pay is 2,500 coins for five watermelons.
The game’s wild symbol is able to replace all other icons except the scatter and the jackpot symbols. There is no specific pay for the wilds, so getting five on a line pays the same as five female devils.
The scattered fire extinguishers are the ticket to winning free spins. Land three, four or five scatters anywhere on the reels and you’ll win 10, 25 or 50 free games! This allocation of free spins is way more generous than most slots, although don’t expect to hit four or five scatters all that often.
Winning the Progressive
To take down the house and win the progressive, you must line up three, four or five symbols showing a bag of gold coins and the word ‘Jackpot’. Three awards the Jackpot, four gifts the Super Jackpot and five yields the mouthwatering Grand Jackpot. If you play at less than max bet, the selfsame combinations pay 100 coins, 1,000 coins and 10,000 coins.
The Bonus Game
Fire Burner also includes a special second screen bonus. At the top right of the game, you’ll find a counter. Each time a bonus symbol appears anywhere on the reels, the amount of your bet is added to the total. Once you manage to reach 750 points, you’ll progress to the bonus game.
The bonus is a fairly basic guessing game. You’ll be shown an upside-down pyramid of blue boxes, 21 in total. Starting from the bottom, you’ll select boxes, which will open to award either a coin win or a ‘stop’ symbol. You’ll select one box at a time from each level until you either reach the top or come to a crushing halt by finding a ‘stop’. The odds are certainly against you getting to the top, so we wouldn’t get too excited. Still, a bonus is a bonus.
Playing with Fire
Ultimately, Fire Burner is a strong fruit machine style casino game. There are several ways to win and three separate jackpots up for grabs. In an ideal world, the bet max would be smaller, but hey, you can’t have everything.
