Arcadia i3D Online Slot Machine Review
Many slots claim to be 3D, and some do a decent job of it. Until you have seen Arcadia i3D from Saucify, you’ve probably never imagined what a truly 3D slot could look like. To say this game in unique would be an understatement. I have played and reviewed 100’s of games and never come across anything quite like this before.
The setup is like a factory, with very strange 3D symbols coming out of 5 doors. Not only is the background and symbols 3 dimensional, the wins pop-upwards, birds fly overhead and trucks drive past. This slot is based on the all-ways 243 winning combinations system, so there are no traditional win-lines. This does make it easier to spot your wins. The unique setup looks confusing at first, though it only takes 4 or 5 spins before you’ll become familiar with it – after that you’ll find that this is an extremely enjoyable game.
Symbols are a crazy collection which includes a bath duck, bi-plane, alien, giant chicken, ghost and boat. All of them are beautifully produced, with shading and detail which adds to the depth of the setup. The small graphical touches like the rotating factory sign, birds (which take the slot name away when the free spin round starts) and cars / trucks diving past make a huge difference. This slot feels lively, and the crazy tune in the background only adds to the slightly insane feel to the game. When you win the winning combinations pop up, with their own sound effects. You’ll also see the line wins pop up, hovering in the air like a point score from a 1980’s arcade game.
Other than the graphical touches there is nothing too different about the free spins game. You get 2x wins and slightly more intensive music to keep you entertained while the wins add up.
Setup and Play for Arcadia i3D
Once you strip away the fancy graphics, there are 5 ‘reels’ each with 3 symbols. There are no win-lines, with any run of 3+ consecutive symbols starting from the left hand side reel counting as wins. This 243-ways setup means that you do not need to select the number of lines to play. Instead you choose your coin size and the number of coins per line. The smallest spin amount was 25c with $37.50 possible on the version I played. Auto-spin is available for up to 100 spins a time.
There are a lot more winning combinations possible with 243 ways games – and the pay-table reflects this. You’ll find the biggest wins need to be smaller to balance against the pay-outs being more frequent.
The alien is wild in this game, and will substitute for everything except the robot (free spins scatter). You’ll get 1000 coins for 5 wilds across the reels, and 250 for 4. The order of the regular symbols sounds a little crazy when writing it down! This is the ghost, dinosaur, cow, chicken, bath duck, and windmill. The building, boat, monster truck and bi-plane make up the smaller wins. It is always good to see a slot without any playing card symbols.
The golden robot scatter symbol has 2 roles. This triggers the bonus round, and is also the scatter symbol. 5 will win you 100x your total bet, with 20 times your bet for 4. You get 15 free spins for 3 or more, with no additional spins for 4 or 5.
Free Spins Bonus Feature
This slot is plenty crazy enough without too much different behaviour for the free spins bonus game. There is a nice start to this. The slot name is the factory sign, and a gang of birds fly in to remove this, replacing it will free spins. The game then cycles through your spins, accumulating your wins are you go. All wins are doubled during this game, and you can retrigger with 3+ more robots.
Arcadia i3D – Conclusion
This is the best Saucify slot I have played, and one which could stake a claim to being the ‘most 3D slot yet’ if there was such a contest. The quirky tune, crazy symbols and amazing 3D animations (particularly when you hit a winning combination), all combine to make this an enjoyable experience. There is only one feature in the form of the free spins. Generally with Saucify slots, some in-reel behaviour, or maybe an additional bonus game would be welcome. For this one, I am not so sure. It is plenty crazy enough already, and adding more features might make it feel overdone.
An excellent slot, I strongly recommend you take a look at this one when you go hunting for real money games, if only for the unique 3D graphics and game play.
