WTG Bingo Review

If you like to punctuate your writing with exclamation marks for added excitement and to atone for its absence of emotion, you’ll love WTG Bingo. Or rather you’ll love WTG! Bingo. This site is so excitable it’s even got a giant exclamation mark inserted between the words in its name. They don’t end there either, for on the animated wheel which graces the homepage (although ‘graces’ is the wrong word; ‘commandeers’ would be more fitting), you’ll read “You would have won £2,500!! Make a deposit now and spin the wheel for real!!” Using a single exclamation mark is bad enough. Using multiple ones is inexcusable.

WTG Bingo, established in 2017, is a British bingo site that’s designed for women. This is because women tend to account for by far the majority of bingo players. (They also use far more exclamation marks than men, so perhaps the preponderance ofthem here is intentional.) Alongside the perma-spinning bonus wheel is a picture of a woman sat cross-legged with shopping bags at her feet and her arms raised aloft to signal her excitement at the huge jackpot she’s presumably just won. It’s hard to focus on her or on anything else on the site because of that infernal wheel which won’t sit still for a moment.

About WTG Bingo

WTG Bingo is a brand new site that’s operated by Jumpman Gaming Limited. Most oftheir bingo sites (and there’s a lot ofthem) are awful, but you’d hope that their newer designs would be much better, even if the games and bonuses remain the same. Sadly that’s not the case, for WTG Bingo is every bit as grim as everything that’s gone before. This truly is a poor site with few if any redeeming features and all sorts of annoying elements. There are Twitter and Facebook pages but the former has never been used and the latter hasn’t been touched in weeks. It’s possible that WTG Bingo will start posting content in due course but don’t count on it: Jumpman Gaming don’t do social.

The site is licensed and regulated by the UK Gambling Commission. On its badly written homepage, WTG Bingo switches from the third person to the first person indiscriminately because it can’t make up its mind whether it’s one person or a business and deploys more exclamation marks to atone for the complete absence of genuine excitement generated by anything on this site. On its About page, you won’t learn a whole lot about WTG Bingo other than the fact that its servers are located in Guernsey, customer funds are completely segregated and uptime is 99.99%. If you require customer support, your options are phone or email.

Decisions on Banking

For reasons that have never been fathomed, Jumpman Gaming only let players deposit funds via credit or debit card. Admittedly, the average British housewife is probably going to be inclined to use her bank card, but you’d think the company might want to bring their payment options up to date and include some alternative methods, even if it’s only PayPal or ewallet.

Choose from Visa, Maestro, MasterCard, Solo, Switch and a couple of others. The minimum deposit amount is £5 the first time, £10 thereafter and the minimum withdrawal amount is £30. Withdrawal requests take 48 hours to be processed followed by 7-14 days for funds to appear on your card.

It’s absolutely astonishing that Jumpman Gaming hold onto player funds for this long and it’s even more astonishing that players tolerate this. It doesn’t take a week or two for funds to clear onto credit or debit card: it takes 2-3 working days at most. Jumpman Gaming are simply holding onto player funds for reasons that only they know. They’ve done it for years and they’ll continue to do it for as long as they can get away with it.

WTG Welcome Bonus

The casino bonus available at WTG Bingo is the same as the one this operator offer at all oftheir sites and will likely continue to offer for time indefinite. Deposit £10 and you’ll be given £30 to play with plus you’ll get the chance to spin the bonus wheel, the very same one which dominates the homepage and refuses to let you focus on anything else. You’re guaranteed at least £5 in bonus cash from the wheel but in theory you could win up to £2,500. In theory. It would be fascinating to know if a player has ever won £2,500 from one of Jumpman Gaming’s bonus wheels since the dawn of time, but this sort of information is unavailable. Does their wheel use a RNG, or is it not quite as random as it might appear to novice players?

The regular promotions that are available to WTG Bingo after signing up include the obligatory Monday Madness, which isn’t remotely mad but does at least take place on a Monday. It kicks off in the Lucky Stars room from 4pm and sees the value ofthe full house and regular prizes switched. In keeping with the alliterative theme that typifies all these sites, there’s Tuesday Treasure too, held on the second Tuesday of each month when there’s up to £1,000 to be won. You’ve also got Weekend Wad, where £300 can be won and, in a startling departure from the alliterations, Friday Night Takeaway. That’s right, you could literally win a takeaway, though thankfully it isn’t delivered to your house as the chips and doner meat would probably be cold by the time they arrived.

Nothing New

The bingo games that can be played at WTG Bingo comprise 75-ball and 90-ball games, just as they do at most British bingo sites. There’s nothing new to be seen here, but at least there’s a full playing guide provided and tickets are cheap, as indeed bingo tickets invariably are. Buy multiple tickets for games if you’d like to boost your chances of winning then sit back and watch as your numbers are drawn. There are also slots you can play when you’ve had your fill of bingo, the same slots that appear at all sites by this operator: Fluffy Favourites, Fluffy Too, Shaman’s Dream, Starburst and other games that are designed with a female demographic in mind.

WTG Bingo in Conclusion

WTG Bingo is an unwelcome and unnecessary addition to an already overcrowded British bingo market. It’s a site which promises nothing new and delivers nothing new. The spinning wheel on the homepage is annoying, the text is annoying and as for the rest, from the promotions to the payment options and withdrawal times, yep, it’s annoying. This isn’t even the best site Jumpman Gaming have done, despite being one oftheir newest efforts. The company might actually be going backwards. Still, they must be doing something right or they presumably still wouldn’t still be in business and capable of turning out execrable sites like this.
