In Poseidon’s Kingdom, conventional slot rules apply: all wins are formed from left to right, starting from the furthest reel. Wins are only paid on active lines, and only the highest win per line is paid.
As far as the visuals are concerned, the game is as you’d expect, with the reel grid appearing against a watery blue backdrop. Light shafts shimmer beneath the surface and coral reef in various shades jaggedly sprouts from the sea bed. The control for Lines/Stake appears inside a shell, while the buttons for Spin and Auto Spin resemble shiny stones. At the top of the screen, running tallies record your bank balance and total bet.
Symbols, meanwhile, match the theme perfectly: you’ll come across angel fish, starfish, shells, mermaids, jellyfish, tridents, clams, Poseidon portraits and the usual playing card icons. The icons are brightly-rendered and animate during gameplay.
The clam symbol acts as the game’s wild. This one can appear anywhere across the five reels, and can be used by players to stand in for other images – except for the scatter, that is. Disappointingly, there is no multiplier attached to wins which the wild helps to form.
The Poseidon icon acts as the game’s one and only scatter. Two or more of these on an active line will grant a win, while three or more supplies free spins. You’ll scoop six free revolutions for three, eight for four and 10 for five in a line. All wins during free spins are doubled into the bargain, and the round can re-trigger an infinite number of times. We appreciate those facts, though 10 free spins for five in a line isn’t exactly mind-blowing: some slots we’ve come across grant upwards of 50 free spins for the same number of scatters.
Other than a wild and scatter, it’s business as usual: you just need to find matching combos. The trident symbol is the most lucrative of all, paying out 3,000 coins when five icons are obtained. Of course, this number could double to 6,000 if you hit five tridents during a round of free spins. It’s a bit of a long shot, but the possibility is there.

It’s a Bit Dated
