Cupid Bingo
When Cupid shoots his arrow, there’s no telling where it may land. When he decides to play bingo, you can be sure there’s enough love to go round when he fires out the wonderful prizes. The free Cupid Bingo is a 90 ball game that will release 30 balls when the ‘play’ button is pressed for a chance to win high paying prizes. The whole play area screams of elegance on a backdrop of luscious red, the colour of love.
Along the bottom of the screen are all of the controls for play. At the lower left is the bet meter and adjustment. The coin value is pre-set at 0.25 for the free game and a bet can be placed from 1 to 40 if playing with just 1 bingo ticket. However, up to 4 tickets can be played per round so if playing all of those 4, the bet will be quadrupled to between 4 and 120. The tickets are in 3 rows split into 5 columns to allow 15 mixed numbers on each ticket. The ticket have been well thought out as each one has ‘your bet’ and ‘you won’ to display exactly what is happening in the game to keep players informed. The prize meter also keeps tabs of wins made per round.
Looking for Changes
At any time before the start of a new round, players can opt to change tickets with the ‘New Tickets’ button for a new set of numbers in addition to ramping up the bets to maximum for high roller stakes by selecting the ‘Max Bet’ button. Also displayed along here are the credit balance and total bet. It’s the total bet that gamblers will want to keep an eye on as it will keep a tally of all that is wagered for extra balls plus the initial stake. This is helpful to decide if the prize being played for is worth spending all the extra credit for.
The game settings are stored at bottom right of the screen. This is the place to go to tailor sound settings for on or off. Those looking to speed up the game a little can also select turbo which will release the balls at a fast pace. Also included is a help section which gives a quick guide to play if new punters are unsure of how to get started.
Patterns and Balls
The middle section of the screen is where all the exciting ball action takes place. The ball ejector is at the top and as ‘play’ is pressed, 30 balls are released and cascade down into the checking area. As each brightly coloured ball drops, any numbers on the tickets that match them are automatically crossed off. There are 12 different ways to win when matching balls to tickets and these are shown under the check area. A full house for bingo is the high paying pattern and if activated, the jackpot will also payout.
To activate the jackpot, players will have to have all 4 tickets in play and a bet at 3 or more credits on each card. If a win is close to paying out when all 30 balls have been expelled, extra balls can be paid for with more credits to help complete it. There are up to 10 extra balls and all have a variety of prices; usually the high prizes will incur the higher price ball. If a free spin is awarded, additional balls can become available but these will have to be bought as extras.
Flex Those Bingo Balls
If you enjoy a good game of bingo to pass some time away, the free Flex Bingo has 12 winning patterns for when the bingo balls are released that might be of interest to you. It is a game of bingo for fun that has a very good range of prizes to win and an excellent jackpot to chase. The 3 by 5 bingo cards have 15 numbers to match with the 30 released balls.
When extra balls are to be released, there are 13 for this game with the chance of free balls that are shown as a yellow smiley ball. It’s a game that will be one for the gamblers who like to play the high limit stakes as the higher coin value options can make it very draining on payrolls. For low rollers it still has a good level of prizes to keep it entertaining.
Shot by an Arrow
If you love the timeless game of bingo, Cupid Bingo is ready and waiting to pay that love back to you. What is nice about this game is that there is so much happening on the screen as the balls drop, the information needed to play is on the screen to be seen. All the displays, messages and meters keep players informed, although it would be nice to see the credit balance and total bet meters given a bit more prominence.
If there is a one real big down side to the game, it has to be the sound effects. Initially there is a little introduction tune as the game loads which, although it sounds a little 70s, has lyrics to tell you it’s ‘Cupids Bingo’ and it’s ok. The sound effects on the game play can get a little chaotic as they overlap each other. Playing on turbo speeds may have you clambering for the sound settings to turn it off. Nevertheless, there is no denying the tokens of love from Cupid even if he is a little tone deaf. He likes to showers with gifts of solid prizes as he fires those bingo arrows.
