Flutter is streamlining its expansive operations, moving all its non-US divisions under the same umbrella. Flutter International will encompass Brazil, Central & Eastern Europe, Southern Europe & Africa, Asia-Pacific, and the UK & Ireland.
Brown spent two years heading up the UK and Ireland operations, focusing on horse racing and proclaiming recently that the sport is quickly becoming “unprofitable” for sportsbooks.
Talking about his upcoming departure, Brown emphasized that the company has “taken share in a challenging market, investing in customer innovation and our people.”
Flutter Entertainment CEO Peter Jackson thanked Brown for his “enormously successful” time in charge during which he transformed the UK & Ireland business “on almost every metric.”
