Grim, an online slots streamer who often goes by his handle GrimzYoutube, has announced he is taking a break from gambling for a few days.
The streamer, who plays online slots on crypto casino Roobet for his followers on Kick, claims that he has lost an eye-watering $3m in one night. He took to X to confirm that he would not stream for “a day or two” but affirmed that he is “financially okay” despite the loss:
Grim currently has 12,100 followers on Kick, the streaming platform owned by online casino Stake. This is a realitively low count compared to other major gambling streamers such as Trainwreckstv (321,900 followers) and Roshtein (289,000 followers). However, Grim plays with similar stakes to these big hitters.
playing online slots with bets of as much as $600 per spin
In his last stream on Kick, Grim was playing online slots with bets of as much as $600 per spin. He expressed frustration over his recent bad luck during that livestream, stating: “We lost a lot yesterday and it’s the same bullsh*t today.” Despite that, he still claimed that he was up $70,000 for the day.
It isn’t clear if Grim lost the $3m while playing online slots or if he was gambling on a different vertical. He claims he lost the $3m in one night on Wednesday, but he wasn’t streaming at the time.
