One of the more bizarre sports to enter the mainstream in recent years is Power Slap. Led by UFC President Dana White, the competitions see people try to defeat their opponents through brute force slaps.
While some medical professionals claim the contests can lead to traumatic brain injuries, the Nevada State Athletic Commission sanctions and regulates them.

The Fontainebleau Las Vegas has now clambered aboard the bandwagon, announcing a five-show Power Slap residency in 2025. The casino will become the “official home of Power Slap” and hold televized events in its Cobalt Ballroom. It already hosted a Power Slap event in June that sold more than 3,500 tickets and will showcase Power Slap 10 in December.
As part of the new partnership, fans will get access to exclusive experiences at the Fontainebleau, a property that will celebrate its first anniversary before the end of 2024.
Commenting on the agreement, Power Slap President Frank Lamicella said it was “a no-brainer” to enter a long-term deal as it allows “more fans to come and experience the energy and excitement” of one of these competitions.
