BetMGM lands top influencer
BetMGM has signed YouTuber and serial slot machine jackpot winner Brian Christopher as a brand ambassador.
BetMGM wasted no time in trumpeting its exclusive partnership with Christopher, taking to X to confirm rumors the slot-playing influencer was “joining the party at BetMGM Casino:”
Christopher’s value to major brands is highlighted by the award-winning casino gaming content creator’s LinkedIn page, which states he has 1 billion+ video views. More importantly, his social media platforms account for a staggering 1.8 million followers.
According to an official BetMGM news release, the iGaming subsidiary co-owned by MGM Resorts International and Entain Plc will showcase Christopher “in livestreams across social media channels featuring its online casino platforms, as well as in future marketing campaigns.”
Exclusive “meet-and-greet experiences” and virtual player events
The partnership-linked streams will play across both Brian Christopher Slots (BCS) YouTube channels and the BCS space on Kick and Facebook. Exclusive “meet-and-greet experiences” and virtual player events are also part of the YouTuber’s spinman duties for BetMGM.
BetMGM eyes wider audience
In the Wednesday news release, BetMGM Vice President of Gaming Product and Content Oliver Bartlett gave an insight into how significant the partnership is for raising BetMGM’s brand awareness. He stated that Christopher’s BCS channel exerts an influence that “extends far beyond captivating videos.”
engaging interested players into BetMGM’s wide variety of casino games”
“This partnership allows Brian to showcase his personality and enthusiasm for our industry while engaging interested players into BetMGM’s wide variety of casino games,” Bartlett added.
According to the news release, the tie-up is centered on real money gaming, with Christopher already plugging BetMGM as the “ultimate real money gaming destination for us true slots lovers.”
While BetMGM stated the partnership was exclusive, Christopher is already a familiar slots icon in Las Vegas having teamed up with the Plaza Hotel and Casino in January 2021 to roll out a BCS on-site gaming area. Three years later and Christopher’s star is still rising, after 2023 saw him win Streamer of the Year and Slot Collaboration of the Year for BCS at the SBC-hosted CasinoBeats Game Developer Awards.
Brands in alignment
BetMGM was also among the industry award winners in 2023, named Casino Operator of the Year by the American Gambling Awards, Global Gaming Awards, SBC North America, and EGR North America.
Backed by this industry recognition, both Christopher and the New Jersey-based iGaming brand are looking to do big things together.
Christopher said on Wednesday that he couldn’t wait for “fans and players” to see what BCS and BetMGM have planned for them. “Partnering with the King of Casinos means I get to bring the top platform with the newest and greatest games to the BCSlots universe,” he added.
