A woman has come to the attention of the authorities for her actions at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. Yuk Wong is looking at five counts of cheating in a gambling game and a single charge of conspiring to cheat.
She evaded law enforcement for many months following the issuance of an arrest warrant last year by the Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB). A police officer stopped the suspect on May 15 because she was driving a vehicle with an expired registration. They then discovered the outstanding warrant when they put her details into the system.
dealer gave chips worth hundreds of dollars to Wong even after she lost
Wong allegedly cheated at the “I Luv Suits Poker” game with the help of her boyfriend. The NGCB claims that the dealer gave chips worth hundreds of dollars to Wong even after she lost rounds. Investigators received a tip-off and saw evidence of cheating while viewing surveillance footage. Security at the property detained Wong and her boyfriend until NGCB agents could talk with them.
Wong didn’t reveal her true relationship with the dealer, just claiming she liked playing at his tables because he helped her understand the game better. The authorities subsequently saw on the unnamed dealer’s Facebook page that he was in a relationship with 42-year-old Wong, and so they issued her arrest warrant.
