The World Series of Poker has released the schedule for the 2024 WSOP Europe, to be held, as usual, at King’s Resort in Rozvadov, Czech Republic. Running from September 18 to October 9, it is earlier than past editions, which typically started in late October.
every event has a guarantee – over €13m in total
The Series will be comprised of 15 events, six of which have guaranteed prize pools of at least €1m ($1.08m). Every event has a guarantee – over €13m in total – most of which range from €100,000 ($108,406) to €500,000 ($542,030). Buy-ins range from €350 ($379) for the No-Limit Hold’em Opener to €50,000 ($54,203) for the No-Limit Hold’em Diamond High Roller.
The highlight event, of course, is the €5m guaranteed, €10,350 Main Event, slated for October 4-9. Tournament organizers expect a high turnout for the Main, bolstered by an estimated 400 qualifiers for the first Day 1 flight.
Last year’s Main Event was the largest in WSOP Europe history, fielding 817 entries and generating a €7,761,500 ($8,413,932) prize pool. Max Neugebauer won the bracelet and the €1.5m ($1.6m) first prize.
