He went to the casino with friends and family after performing at a venue in Louisville. When the 32-year-old went towards his car, two masked and gloved men approached with rifles. He tried to flee on foot before the attackers cornered him on the upper deck and shot him multiple times. They proceeded to steal Williams’ 2013 Dodge Charger.
Police have not yet made any arrests and are now looking for two suspects who were seen on surveillance footage.
The Indiana Gaming Commission and the Indiana State Police are assisting the sheriff’s office with the investigation. It is the first murder to take place at the casino since it opened in 1998.
