Missouri authorities have charged a duo for sex trafficking a 16-year-old victim at the River City Casino in St. Louis County.
Police learned on February 23 that the offender, Angel Henderson, recruited, harbored, and transported a minor to the River City Casino. In cooperation with her accomplice, Mack Mitchell, she then facilitated the abuse of the teenager by paying individuals within the casino.
Mitchell is currently at large having evaded capture
Officials have charged both Henderson and Mitchell with second-degree sexual trafficking of a child under 18. There bonds are set at $300,000 in cash only. While Henderson was apprehended by authorities and is awaiting a bond reduction hearing, Mitchell is currently at large having evaded capture. The police are seeking any information on the offender.
This isn’t the first time that authorities in the US have uncovered sex trafficking cases in or around casinos. Just two months ago, police charged a man and woman in Las Vegas for sex trafficking and holding a teenage girl against her will. While staying at The Strat Hotel, which also offers a casino, the duo ordered the teenage girl to perform sex acts for money, finding customers on the street.
