“Obvious homicide”
A 55-year-old man has been arrested at a Las Vegas casino in connection with the death of his 26-year-old wife.
Arthur Eugene Guty Jr. was arrested at the Mardi Gras Casino after police discovered his late wife, Nicole Zambrano. Missing since December 24, Zambrano was found by Uniontown police on New Year’s Day with a gunshot wound to her head inside their shared home in Pennsylvania.

Police initially checked on her after a colleague reported her missing. After Guty Jr. failed to inform the police as to the whereabouts of his missing wife, police obtained a search warrant and discovered the body along with a .357 magnum revolver gun in another bedroom.
On Tuesday, police captured the suspect eating breakfast inside the Mardi Gras Casino in Las Vegas.
Cross-country trip
Married for less than a year to Zambrano, Guty Jr. had $100,000 on him at the time of his arrest. According to police, he was using the money to leave the US to “avoid any responsibility for what happened.”
Two days before his wife was reported missing, Guty Jr. left Pennsylvania, telling neighbors that he and Zambrano were on a cross-country road trip. A neighbor informed police that when asked where they were, Guty Jr. said they were “going up to the Grand Canyon.”
he was clearly not willing to come in to speak to us.”
Fayette County District Attorney Mike Aubele said: “It’s an obvious homicide. And he was clearly not willing to come in to speak to us.”
A motive has not yet been established, but Guty Jr. faces charges of criminal homicide and aggravated assault.
Hitman
Interestingly, this is Guty Jr’s second marriage. His first didn’t end too well either. In 2019, his ex-wife attempted to get him killed by a hitman.
The reason? Roxanne Guty wanted his life insurance policy and was willing to kill for it. In 2019, she was arrested after offering the hitman a share of the $50,000 life insurance policy Guty Jr. had to kill him. She is currently being held at Fayette County Prison.
