Just two years ago, Canadian streamer xQc was entertaining his viewers by gambling with $40 per spin on online slots. Now, the 27-year-old is staking as much as $50,000 on each spin, and he just revealed the eye-watering amount he has wagered on crypto casino Stake in total.
xQc, real name Félix Lengyel, revealed the details while streaming this week. He showed his statistics page on Stake, which indicated he had wagered $2,655,921,982 in total on the site. X account iqkev shared a screenshot of the moment:
His total stakes are up more than $1.1bn since xQc last revealed his stats on September 20. It also means he is down around $15m in November already. That comes despite securing some substantial wins this month, including a $620,950 win on Dork Unit and a $378,400 profit on Mighty Masks.
he has deals with both the streaming platform and casino
If you’re confused as to how a streamer can afford to wager such substantial amounts, xQc recently revealed a little about his partnership with Kick and Stake. He said that he has deals with both the streaming platform and casino, which offer as much as $275m combined.
Stake created the Kick platform in response to the gambling ban implemented by Twitch in October 2022. Since then, it has signed a lot of the world’s most famous streamers, including Trainwreck, Roshtein, Adin Ross, and most recently NICKMERCS. The latter said he will begin gambling on streams as part of his deal.
