The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) has handed out fines totaling $100,350 over a variety of regulatory violations while also issuing casino bans to multiple gamblers.
Hollywood Casino operator Mountainview Thoroughbred Association will pay a $78,000 penalty for not adhering to the state’s minimum security staff requirements. Meanwhile, gaming equipment suppliers TCS John Huxley Europe and TCS John Huxley America received a $22,350 fine for not filing principal licensing applications. The PGCB’s Office of Enforcement Counsel (OEC) entered consent agreements with the fine recipients.

The PGCB also approved the recommendations from the OEC, banning five adults from all state casinos after they gambled while leaving children unattended. In one case, a man and a woman gambled in the Presque Isle Downs Casino & Racetrack for 35 minutes while five children aged between 2 and 13 years old waited in their car.
This is not the first occasion authorities have had to deal with this problem. The Wind Creek Bethlehem reported in 2022 that 268 children were left unattended across 147 incidents in a four-year period.
