MaximBet solidifies its position
The saying “there’s no time like the present” could not be more fitting for MaximBet and Genius Sports.
a record 46.6 million Americans will place at least one wager during the NFL season
The companies’ new partnership comes right after the American Gaming Association predicted that a record 46.6 million Americans will place at least one wager during the NFL season. Part of the growth is attributed to an expected 18 million new faces joining the market as states continue to legalize sports gambling.
In addition, sports betting has infiltrated social media, with 65% of gamblers sharing that they felt obligated to bet on hot-topic sporting events, according to data released by Twitter.
Earlier this year, official estimates landed on 31.4 million US residents betting $7.6bn on the Super Bowl. With the season soon underway and other states also in the fight to legalize gambling, the number for the upcoming Super Bowl could skyrocket once again.
