An extensive transformation
Caesars Entertainment is planning to bring its Horseshoe brand to the Las Vegas Strip. The casino company announced on Wednesday that it will rebrand Bally’s Las Vegas to the Horseshoe Las Vegas. This is part of an extensive transformation for the property that will begin this spring and should complete by the end of 2022.

The transformation will involve renovations to the property’s interior and exterior, as well as the addition of food, beverage, and entertainment options. It will also include a redesign of the casino floor. To fall in with the Horseshoe brand, the designers intend to create an air of “classic sophistication.”
Notably, the World Series of Poker (WSOP) will take place at the Horseshoe Las Vegas during the summer. It will mark the first time that the Caesars-owned event has taken place on the Las Vegas Strip.
The return of an iconic brand
In a statement released Wednesday, Bally’s Las Vegas general manager and senior vice president Jason Gregorec commented on the Horseshoe brand. He said: “Since 1951 Horseshoe Casinos have been home to the best odds, highest limits, and biggest jackpots. So, it’s fitting that we bring Horseshoe back to Las Vegas.” Gregorec also affirmed that the guest experience will not suffer due to the ongoing transformation.
Caesars Entertainment regional president Sean McBurney believes bringing the Horseshoe brand to Las Vegas will allow the company to celebrate its history and future. He said: “2022 starts a new era for the Caesars Entertainment empire in Las Vegas, one being heralded by the return of Horseshoe.”
Big changes
The Horseshoe Las Vegas will have a very prominent position in the gambling hub, located about halfway up the Strip. It represents the latest in a list of Vegas renovation projects undertaken by Caesars Entertainment. The operator has also completed major investments in gaming technology and casino floors, as well as partnering with leading restauranteurs and entertainers.
Bringing the WSOP to the Horseshoe Las Vegas marks a significant step, as the very first edition of this tournament in 1970 took place at the original Horseshoe Casino in Las Vegas. Since 2005, it has gone ahead at the Rio Hotel and Casino. The 53rd renewal of the WSOP will begin on May 31 this year and last until July 19.
