Soccer organization LaLiga North America is embracing the sports betting wave that is moving across the region through a new partnership with worldwide sports betting operator PointsBet.
The deal will cover the remaining games in the current season, as well as being in place for the 2020/2021 season. The specific details and terms of the agreement were not made public.

Using the soccer league’s IP and brand value, PointsBet will leverage an ever-expanding market. The CEO for PointsBet USA, Johnny Aitken, said the deal is a unique opportunity to quickly roll out innovative features to a deeply engaged audience.
He described PointsBet as “the only sportsbook with deep Spanish language functionality across our entire product so that the premium PointsBet quality is never lost in translation.”
Operator focusing on expansion
PointsBet is a sports betting operator that was set up in Australia. In recent times, it has been expanding its focus to other countries, such as the United States. It has official partnership deals in place with the XFL and the NBA, and is now the first sports betting partner of LaLiga North America.?
