Zombies Slots
The popularity of zombie culture seems to grow more prolific each day, and Net Entertainment has given zombie fans a game that features all the details of this particular horror genre. This 5-reel, 20-payline game provides a suspenseful, eerily bloody video slot experience with its Free Spins, Stacked and Random Wilds, and zombie-slaying Bonus Game
Fans of the almost-dead will appreciate this game's compatibility with Windows, Mac and Linux laptop and computer operating systems.
Theme
Are you a fan of the Walking Dead or zombie movies in general? If so you're going to love this slot machine! The scene is set in a shopping mall that is empty of life aside from the blood-spattered, blue-faced zombies crowding the rails. The background music is NetENT's creepiest yet, and when you spin the reels you hear the sound of dismembered voices whispering. A suspenseful, horror movie tune echoes out to mark winning paylines.
The five lower-value symbols are represented by the 10, J, Q, K and A and appear as scratchy figures scrawled in a glowing blue liquid. Higher-value symbols showcase all the gory gruesomeness you expect from zombie-themed entertainment. Every symbol is either dripping or splattered with blood. The highest-ranking symbol is a chainsaw, followed by a gas mask, then a brain, then a severed eyeball and finally, an axe crossed with a nail-studded bat rounds out the group.
Features
Scatter symbol Free Spins, Wild substitutes and a zombie-slaying Stacked Wild game make up the Zombie playing experience. The Wild symbol features the word "WILD" in yellow across a red background. It substitutes for all symbols except for the Bonus and Scatter symbols. Three or more of the glowing blue hazardous waste tube Scatter symbols across reels 2, 3 or 4 gifts you with 5 free spins. When you're in Free Spins, your bet line wins are multiplied and compounded after each spin. The first spin has a x1 multiplier, the second, x2 and so on until you reach the final 5th spin which has a x10 multiplier.
Outside of Free Spins mode, you might see the two-headed-zombie Random Wild symbol pop up. It can appear after any spin that hasn't activated either Free Spins or the Stacked Wild feature, and can change up to six symbols into Wilds.
Bonus
Zombie's Bonus Game is integrated with its Stacked Wild feature. A "Zombie Score" box pops up that keeps track of a coin amount that is awarded based on the bet level of the round that activated the Free Spins. The Stacked Wild cannot be missed, as it covers three columns, only appears on reel three and features a bloody zombie reaching toward you. In between each of the five free spins you earn, the game cuts to a scene that shows you shooting the undead with a shotgun while inside the shopping mall. With every spin, the zombies shuffle closer toward you and you earn a cash prize for every one that you shoot. If you land a big win, a zombie will appear right in front of you just before his head is gruesomely chopped with a meat cleaver.
Limits
Zombies features ten betting levels and you can play anywhere from 1 to 20 bet lines per spin. Coin values vary from .01 to 1.00, while the minimum bet per spin is .20 and the maximum bet is 200.00. The maximum amount of coins you can win during the Zombie Score Feature is 555 coins. You can also win a jackpot including up to 100,000 coins at once.
Play
Net Entertainment slots are known for being easy to play, and Zombies is no exception, although it can take a few rounds to figure out exactly how all the Wild features come together. Your current coin values, current bet and balance are all clearly displayed on the control panel at the bottom of the screen. You can turn off the scary soundtrack or just lower it a bit through the sliding volume control. Advanced autoplay settings allow you to spin through anywhere from 10 to 1000 turns, and you tell it when to stop-whether at the awarding of Free Spins, or when the game reaches your choice of earnings or losses.
Compatibility
Satisfy your zombie-slaying fix on your laptop or desktop computer via Windows, Linux or Mac operating systems. Zombies in currently not offered on the NetENT Touch mobile platform.
