Start at The Start
When the game loads, you will be prompted to choose your opponent from the four listed – the suave gentleman (high roller possibly), the headphone wearing man (tight aggressive punter), the smart dresser (loose aggressive) or the casual guy (easy going with no real strategy perhaps). Next, you will be required to choose your denominations; 0.2, 0.5 1.00, 2.00, 4.00, 5.00, 10.00, 20.00, 30.00, 40.00, 50.00, 75,00, 100.00, 150.00, 250.00 and 500.00.
Press deal and you will find yourself sitting at a table with your chosen opponent sitting across from you. You will be in a surreal setting where you can almost feel the table cloth in front of you. Your cards are shown to the lower right and the chips and pot are placed to the left. You simply choose to fold (if your hand is bad) or call – this will increase your bet and you will be dealt ore cards. The aim of the game is simple; you need to beat your opponent to win.
Playing the Game
When the game begins, you will begin with the ante bet – your opponent will follow suit and place his chips into the pot. You will both begin with 2 cards each and as you call, you will increase your ante bet. The flop is where 3 cards will be dealt into the middle of the table, if those cards are in your favour, press ‘call’ to place another chip into the pot. Press the fold option if those 3 cards are not in your favour and you will end the game with the dealer winning. By choosing to call, you will either win with the dealer folding of the dealer will call your bet with a bet of his own – this brings the ‘turn’ stage of the poker game into play. The turn is where another card is placed onto the table – this makes 4 cards in view. Like the cards and you can call to place another bet, this is the same amount as the ante bet. Two things can happen now, the dealer can fold and you win or he calls – this initiates the ‘river’ card.
The final stage in this poker game is the river, this is where the final fifth card is flipped onto the centre of the table. If you like the look of those community cards, you can place your final wager. Final bets will be twice the original ante wager, so if you were wagering 50.00 a go, this would be 100.00. The dealer could fold and you win the chips accumulated from all four stages, or he can call on your bet. When you or your opponent calls, the dealer will flip all of your cards to show you who won and how they won. If you lose, your opponent will drag those chips into his section of the table, but if you win, your virtual player will pull those chips into your pile of chips.
Four Stages of Fun
Poker games can be extremely difficult to understand, so it’s vital you read how to play before staking your cash, because there are some experienced players out there who can bluff their way to a fortune. Poker 3 Heads Up Hold’em is a unique take on a popular poker game, one that allows you to go into four different stages to accumulate big cash. The graphics are not the best we’ve seen, but the 3D animations allow you to think you are in a real life setting.
