Trick or Treat Slot Machine
As you may have guessed from the title, this slot is one all about Halloween. Much of the slot is based around the lighter side of trick or treating, with symbols such as sweets, fake vampire teeth, a witch’s hat and broomstick and broken eggs that are thrown at the houses of the less generous. However, the child called Jason, dressed in a Freddy Kruger jumper wearing a hockey mask and holding a knife is certainly one I wouldn’t be opening the door to - eggs or not!
This slot has a very nice look to it. The backdrop to the game features a rather ominous looking house, with equally scary trees looming in from either side. All of the symbols are cartoon style and well-drawn in rich colours, looking very good against the green mist rising up from the bottom of the reels. The impressive animation of the wild pumpkin and the human characters adds further to the look of the slot. The background sound to the slot is one that you would expect to find when watching a horror movie – with the slow build up to something nasty! Saucify slots are all optimized for mobile display, and are compatible with most Android, Blackberry, Windows and iPhone devices.
The main feature of the slot is the free spins round which is activated by the lone scatter symbol.
Set up and Play for Trick or Treat Slot
This slot by Saucify has the usual five reels and 30 win lines, although you can choose to play any amount of lines up to 30. You’ll choose both the coin amount and the coin value and these in conjunction with the amount of win lines will give you the total cost of the spin.
The top paying symbol in the game is Jason and you’ll win 6,000x your coin amount when landing five in a row (all wins are paid when landing consecutive symbols from left to right on a win line). This symbol actually pays when landing just two in a row alongside the child in the white sheet who pays out 3,000x, while you’ll need at least 3 in a row of every other symbol. The boy with his hands out asking for money/sweets pays out 1,000x for 5 in a row while the witches hat and broomstick come next at 500x. The other symbols in the game pay out between 300x and 100x.
The wild symbol is the pumpkin, although you’ll have no doubt as the word ‘Wild’ is carved out alongside two eyes, lit up by the flame inside. This symbol substitutes for any other apart from the scatter.
Every time you win you’ll have the option of taking a gamble where you can attempt to either double your money or multiply it by 4. Simply click on the ‘gamble’ button after a win and you’re taken to another screen where you can either choose the colour of a playing card (to double up) or the suit (for 4x). Having selected your gamble, the playing card will be revealed – obviously you’ll lose the win amount should you be wrong.
The auto spin feature allows you to either set the amount of spins manually (using the plus and minus buttons) or click on one of the pre-selected amounts (10, 25, 50 or 100).
The scatter symbol in the game is the girl in a red coat holding a teddy bear and if she appears on the slot 3 or more times the free spins round will start.
Trick or Treat Slot Free Spins Round
The free spins round will usually see you gain 10 free spins when landing the scatter symbol 3 times, although you’ll have an additional 5 spins for each extra scatter landed to activate the feature. As an added bonus, should you land the scatter symbols again during the free spins; the round will be re-activated, which could make for many more spins. Even better is the fact that every win during this round is doubled due to the 2x multiplier.
Trick or Treat Slot Conclusion
This slot by Saucify is more of a treat than a trick. Visually, the dark, somewhat creepy look to the slot gives it a spooky air and the soundtrack only emphasises this, although the fun element makes for a more humorous than scary slot. The only possible downside to the slot is the lack of a feature outside of the slot itself (apart from the gamble round). However, if you’re a fan of a slot without too many interruptions that looks great, you could play many worse slots than this. Just don’t open the door to Jason.
