Who says gambling isn’t noble? Not Noble Casino, who are on a mission to make gambling chivalrous again...or something like that. Promising “real games for real players” Noble Casino lays on a good selection of slots, blackjack, and roulette, keno and video poker games.
There’s a catch however: Noble Casino is an old-school site. This means narrow width pages, no favicon, dated design and low-res graphics.
Take a look at the site’s footer and it immediately becomes clear why: Noble Casino is operated by ElectraWorks Limited who manage a ton of virtual casinos, all of which are stuck in a time warp. Naturally, you’ll need to download software to play. Naturally, you can’t play on tablet, Mac or mobile.
Noble Casino is licensed by the UK Gambling Commission, while ElectraWorks Limited also holds a license granted by the government of Gibraltar, where it’s based. Global Gaming Net are the company tasked with managing the casino, while Playtech provide the software. This is a standard arrangement that ElectraWorks deploys with all of its virtual casinos.
In terms of security, Noble Casino has the usual measures in place: 128-bit SSL and a firewall to keep would-be intruders at bay.
Noble Casino offers customer support in the form of email support primarily; there are separate addresses supplied for dealing with cashier, customer service, tech and affiliate marketing issues. The casino promises to respond to emails within 25 minutes. If you’d prefer to speak to a member of the team by telephone, Noble Casino has Canadian and ‘other’ numbers where you can reach it.
There’s no instant chat facility unfortunately, but there is an FAQ. You’ll need to search for it though: clicking on Help at the bottom of the homepage will lead you through to the FAQ, via a couple more clicks. The FAQ, in fairness, is comprehensive, covering such topics as alternative payment methods and whether you can access the site from Belgium.
To make the most of Noble Casino – or indeed to make anything of Noble Casino – you’ll need to download and install the site’s specialist software. This will grant you access to the 80 games that Noble has for its members.
The process should only take a few minutes to complete, though you’ll need a desktop PC to do so. Once done, a Noble Casino icon will be added to your desktop and you’ll be able to log in and play for fun or for real money.
The bog standard and, it must be said, industry standard welcome bonus of a 100% deposit match is offered by Noble Casino. Deposit up to £100 and the casino will double it. Austrian players, however, are only eligible for a 25% bonus.
There’s a 25x wagering requirement before bonus cash can be withdrawn.
There are also daily promotions to look out for; the only way to discover what delights are in store is by logging in to the lobby using Noble Casino’s software and checking out the latest deals. Typically, there’ll be cashback and bonus cash to claim.
Deposit funds via one of the site’s preferred payment methods, namely Neteller, Entropay, Skrill, Paysafecard, WebMoney or Instadebit, and you’ll receive a 15% bonus on top. Finally, refer a friend and when they make their first deposit, you’ll be rewarded with £25.
Type | Amount | Match | Playthrough | Claim |
---|---|---|---|---|
First Deposit | £100 | 100% | 25x | Claim Bonus |
In addition to the options mentioned above – Neteller, Entropay, Skrill, Paysafecard, WebMoney and Instadebit – Noble Casino will let you make a deposit by credit or debit card, including MasterCard, Visa, Delta and Maestro. There are also various regional deposit methods such as Sofort, Euteller, Qiwi and SporoPay. When you’re ready to withdraw cash, there’s a 4-day wait before funds are cleared.
Because Noble Casino is a download-only casino, you can’t try its games in-browser. Even previewing them is difficult. Click on the Preview button and a pop-up window will appear containing screenshots of some of the games that are built into the site’s downloadable software. These are the same 80-odd games as are built into the software used by ElectraWorks’ numerous virtual casinos.
In terms of graphics, they’re not a patch on those offered by more up-to-date casinos, but the gameplay’s the same, because table games will always be table games and slots will always be slots.
The arcade games on offer at Noble Casino are modelled on classic – or at least familiar – arcade games, but in this instance there’s real money to be won. Derby Day is the gold standard by which all of ElectraWorks casinos’ arcade sections operates. The virtual horse racing game promises excellent odds and major prizes as the computer generated steeds canter around the track.
There are also simple card games to play such as Genie’s Hi-Lo. Guess whether the next card will be higher or lower than the one shown or, if you’re feeling bold, predict which card colour it will be too. There’s also Keno, the ancient Chinese lottery game that remains immensely popular, and a few bingo games such as Pop Bingo.
For those who prefer card games, Noble Casino’s blackjack is a trusty take on its real life counterpart, with capable graphics and a wide range of betting options. You play against the house, with the goal of scoring closer to 21 than the dealer. Sounds simple, but in practice it can be anything but. Regular wins will pay 1/1 and there are single and multi-hand options available.
Baccarat, meanwhile, needs players to assemble a hand as close to 9 as possible in order to beat the dealer.
There’s also Red Dog, a poker spin-off in which you receive 2 cards and must then bet on the value of the next card you’re dealt. Finally, Tequila Poker provides an inventive twist on the classic card game. You don’t have to be drinking tequila to play, but don’t let that stop you should you get the urge.
The progressive slots are where the real money lies at Noble Casino. Pick of the bunch is Gold Rally, a 3-reel offering with a top pot running into the millions. Casino member Cari M scooped $1,800,000 playing this game, but since all of ElectraWorks’ casinos seem to make this claim, the odds are this feat didn’t occur at Noble Casino. Other progressive games to be played include the 5-reel Diamond Valley, where the predominant symbol appears to be a pair of false teeth, and Safe Cracker, which is a 3-reel slot.
There is one progressive game to try that isn’t a video slot incidentally – Caribbean Poker, which is played solely against the dealer. A few table games and video poker games complete Noble Casino’s collection.
Noble Casino is another production line casino from ElectraWorks that’s probably best avoided, even if you have a desktop PC. The games are functional, but a narrow selection and an inability to play in-browser means this casino loses points for user-friendliness. It’s okay, but you can do better.
