Burger's Paradise Slots
Mmmm, mmmm, mmmmmmm. That is a tasty burger. Nothing melts in the mouth quite like a fine quarter-pounder and cheese, or if you’re in France perhaps a royale, and nothing tastes sweeter than winning big on something made from 12oz of prime chuck ground into a tender patty.
If you’re someone who believes meat is murder (tasty, tasty murder), though, don’t worry too much. In the process of making this game, no animals were killed, slaughtered, or horrendously mistreated in life and then tortured in an abattoir before death. Or at least we’re pretty sure, anyway. Instead, Burger’s Paradise is a classic five-reel slot gambler that positions you in the happiest place on Earth – a fast food restaurant overflowing with options for dinner, and cash earnings.
You have to admit, there are a lot worse themes to have in terms of jumping up off the screen and inviting you to play. The whole look of the thing is loud, inviting, exciting and rather tempting. It’s even suitable for vegetarian gamers, although quite what that says about the quality of meat is anyone’s guess, really. Then again, you came for the prizes, and there are plenty of those to be claimed as we will see.
Basic Ingredients
In order to make Burger’s Paradise a winning experience, you’ll first want to familiarise yourself with what’s on screen. There’s a happy, notably-stacked burger, an ‘Open 24 Hours’ sign, ‘All You Can Eat’, the satisfied customer, classic burger, fries and drink combination; a packet of fries and drink amongst others (including a chicken option).
It certainly sets the scene to the point of almost being able to smell the grease in the air, although depending on how long you’ve been playing this that might actually be just the atmosphere in your room. Nevertheless, you can’t be blamed for getting into the particular recipe.
Method
Once you have the ingredients clear in your mind, it’s time to start putting everything together. Take your cursor to the bottom of the screen and click on Coin Value. Hit minus to reduce or plus to increase. This might be the most important stage of the recipe to get right- mess it up and you won’t get to gamble the way you want.
Coin Value dictates the overall payouts you’ll be in line for when you win- high value, big win. You can also adjust the number of paylines you want in active play. Paylines are predetermined routes across the reels from left to right- match symbols along these routes and you’ll win, but only if you choose to play that payline. There are 25 to use here, and the process effectively adjusts the number of opportunities you have to win, but not the individual amounts you stand to win.
Get Cooking
So you have preset your level and scale of bet, and now it’s time to play. Hit spin and you’ll see the kitchen come to life in all it’s glory. Working like a well-oiled machine, while everyone knows what to do when it comes to the more standard symbols – match them up for varying amounts of money – there are a few surprises an average day in the life of this particular eatery can throw at anyone.
The Bonus symbol is a king (definitely no copyright infringement here), and if you spin these into play you’ll enter an add-on, bonus round. This basically involves trying to find a burger amongst 12 facedown symbols with a limited number of goes at cracking it. Manage to track down your food and you win serious cashback at the end of the round.
There are also Scatter symbols, which are pretty weird by all accounts. Quite what a gorilla has to do with burgers and chips is beyond us, perhaps a toy in a kids’ meal(?), but these trigger your free spins. Match between three and five and you get between five and 15 spins, and Scatters also offer additional payouts. Finally, there’s a Wild card thrown in for good measure. As you probably grasp, this can be used to form combinations of any symbols, other than Bonus or Scatter.
Food for Thought
What’s not to like about this game, really? Unless you’re on the board of a certain global fast food chain whose brand identity is a little close to one of the symbols in this gambler.
Joking aside, Burger’s Paradise looks good, and tastes even better thanks to the Wild, Scatter and Bonus symbols that are used to liven things up, a lot. And, with 25 paylines to go for, if you have the hunger there’s no telling quite how long you could be munching down on the opportunities to win here.
