The design here is spot on; the watery backdrop is the deep blue sea, with elements such as giant clams and coral just visible. The game logo sits atop the reels and is animated to look like its also underwater, a nice touch. Bubbles of air frequently make an appearance, as the final reel is spinning or when you land a winning combination. The sounds are also aquatic, with dolphin calls and watery sound effects a’plenty. We have to admit, it is a little on the cheesy side but then what else would you expect from a mermaid themed game?
The Technical Bits
The symbols here are a blonde mermaid, a brunette mermaid, a dolphin and regular symbols A, K, J and Q. The blonde mermaid is the Wild symbol, which replaces anything other than the Free Spins Scatter, which has its own symbol with ‘Free Spins’ written in red and a treasure chest. Watch out for any Wild featuring the ‘x2’ multiplier symbol as this will double your payout for any winning combination it’s part of.
