The drugs were directly related to his untimely death. His physician, Connrad Murray, was charged and convicted with unvoluntary manslaughter. Controversy surrounded the death of the King of Pop. MJ was preparing for his This Is It tour during his last days. The documentary titled This Is It, which included footage of MJ rehearsing for the tour and recording with his brothers, was released after his death, and went on to become the highest grossing documentary movie across the world. Michael Jackson earned billions of dollars with record sales, and continues to raise billions even after his death.
