It is a very unique type of slot machine, as there are no symbols, or reels, or paylines, just a gamble-style game that repeats itself, as you move the Matterhorn all the way up the mountain guessing higher or lower on numbers between 1 and 18. Payout gets higher as you Move up the Mountain
The game starts you out at the bottom of the mountain. The higher up the mountain you climb, the higher the payout will be. To continue up the mountain, you must choose if the next number on the flag will be higher or lower than the previous one. These numbers range from one to 18. If your guess is correct, you will continue on to the next flag, and the process repeats itself. No number will ever be the same for the next flag and freebies are given when the flag reveals a 1 or an 18, since there is only one possible correct answer. Players can also reach lodgings throughout the game in order to collect more winnings.
Level Up
Once you advance through one level (Mad Matterhorn is available after the completion of each round but it is up to the player on how they gamble their winnings. You can either collect the winnings or attempt to go higher and earn even more. You will be able to either choose to collect the win and end that game, thus starting over, or to continue. However, continuing doesn’t bank any of your current winnings. This is a gamble because if you lose on the next level, you lose all of the winnings from the first level. Another bonus feature activates when you have a perfect play on any of the levels after the first level, in which you earn an extra life.
Limits
The betting limits range from 0.20 to 100.00 per bet. The bet is placed each time the player makes a guess on the next flag.
