Super Money Wheel Slots
Super Money Wheel is a 3-reel, 27-ways-pay video slot. Part of the renowned Betsoft gaming suite, this one is far more lucrative than most 3-reelers, given that combinations can be sourced on each and every available payline.
Yes, Super Money Wheel is one of those near-mythical all ways pay slots: and not only that, but the title comprises two separate game configurations. While one is a bog standard 3x3 grid, the other is a lucrative ‘wheel of fortune’, located on a split screen in the top half.
This traditional fruit-themed video slot features a top prize of 100x, and a wide betting range so that all gamers can grab themselves a piece of the action. Let’s take a closer look…
Hope you like fruit
Gaming developers never really rock the boat when it comes to the symbols in these old-school 3-reelers. As such, the symbols in Super Money Wheel include such classics as pears, lemons, blueberries, cherries, grapes and oranges. There are also bells, watermelons, red 7s, white stars and BARs. The game’s design, which sits somewhere between 2D and 3D, almost makes one think he is in a real bricks and mortar casino: the slot takes place on a physical replication of a classic chrome slot machine, with a lever on the left-hand side and cups to collect your inexistent chips.
Most of the game’s facade is taken up with pay-tables, the reel grid, the fortune wheel and the ‘Super Money Wheel’ game logo, but the background is a cool aquamarine blue. Overall, the look is dazzlingly bright and inviting, and when a player hits a win, the whole tableaux will light up like a damn Christmas tree. The control panel, meanwhile, has just five buttons: Bet -, Bet , Start, Autoplay and Collect.
There are also tabs for Win, Credits, Bet and Clubmeter, the latter of which records your wins in the bonus round. We’re sure you don’t need to be told, but just in case you do, the slot pays out on combinations of three matching symbols, found in any configuration. Because all ways pay, the combinations don’t even need to be formed from left to right – they can be formed from right to left, too. As such, the wins are known to come thick and fast.
Pay-table
In Super Money Wheel, the pay-outs are multipliers of the gamer’s initial bet. And since there are no less than 27 ways to win, players have a terrific chance of finding a whole bunch of them. At the lower end of the scale, three oranges pays 1x while three BARs pays the 100x grand prize. In between, there are white stars (60x), red 7s (20x), watermelons (16x), bells (8x), grapes (6x), pears (4x), lemons (2x), blueberries (2x) and cherries (1x). There are also wheel logos, but they appear sporadically and are not associated with values in the regular pay-table.
The big wheel in the sky
The gold-rimmed wheel of fortune is located in the upper half of the screen. While the base game is the default mode of play, players can win spins on the wheel by hitting three wheel symbols on the 3x3 grid. The wheel itself is divided up into shards, like a pizza, with 20 separate multipliers on a multicoloured backdrop.
The multipliers include 10x, 15x, 20x, 25x, 30x, 35x, 40x, 50x, 75x and 100x. It’s really just your luck, but it’s obviously statistically more likely that you’ll hit 40x and below. Those 50x, 75x and 100x wedges are damn enticing, though…
Like most old-school slot machines, this one does not offer that many features, with the exception of the super money wheel. That means no wild symbol, no scatter icon and certainly no free spins in the offing. With that being said, the prospect of finding matching combinations is enhanced thanks to the ‘all ways pays’ format.
Money talks
Super Money Wheel is already a decent enough 3-reel video slot, made even better thanks to the presence of the wheel of fortune. Graphically it’s nothing special, but there are certainly worse looking 3-reelers on the market. Give it your best shot and see how you fare.
