Theme
Set in a volcanic cave, with the reel set above a live fire, the first thing which strikes you on Flame of fortune is that the graphics are far better than past Barcrest offerings, we’ve seen this on new takes on classic themes by them recently like Black Magic Fruits and it certainly seems to be something they are keen to follow up with every new release.

Bets below 2.00 credits in overall value generate a lower RTP and the wild symbol only substitutes for the high pay symbols, above 2.00 credits you get an RTP increase and the wild substitutes for all symbols and gets a gold background bonus.
This gold bonus is important, as when you line up five symbols with a gold background you ignite the fortune drop feature, this is a 5x5 reel set with a cascading symbol setup. Match 3 or more symbols horizontally or vertically for wins and they will explode, to be replaced by more drop symbols from above until no further win combination appears. After the round finishes you get a gamble game where you can keep your win or play the flame of fortune wheel, this will result in a cash prize (which may be lower than your existing win) or an enhanced fortune drop game which can be a max of four fortune drops with a 4x wild multiplier!
