A New Take on a Classic Story
Just like the original legend of the Robin Hood, his female counterpart, Lady Robin Hood, is the champion of the poor and the oppressed. She steals from the rich and gives to the poor, which you may have already guessed.
Luckily for you though, in this game, the player reaps the rewards. You will encounter Lady Robin Hood at the top side of the reels with her bow and arrows ready to strike. The reels are set on top of what appears to be a thick forest pathway. On the reels you will encounter symbols such as Lady Robin, Coins, Flagons, Daggers, Quivers, and the poker card values that run from ten through ace. Other special symbols of the game include the Lady Robin Hood Logo, the Target, and the Wild symbol that is indicated simply enough by the word "Wild".
The Wild symbol is highly relevant, as it helps complete a winning combination by substituting all other symbols apart from the Lady Robin Hood Logo, which is the scatter and your key to Free Games. Wilds in this game only appear on reels 2, 3, 4, and 5.
Maroon, chocolate brown, and green are the dominant colors and they easily match the theme.
Loaded Full of Bonuses
The first bonus is the Arrow Mystery Wild Bonus. During regular play, you could get between 2 and 8 wild symbols to appear on reels 2, 3, 4, and 5. When this happens, the wilds will substitute all other symbols except the game's Logo. If the Lady Robin Hood Logo appears next to a wild, the symbol will count as Wild and Free Games symbol.
Three of the game's Logos appearing anywhere on reels 1, 3, and 5 will get you into the Free Games bonus round. To start with, you will be awarded with 10 free games and a 2X multiplier applied to your total stake. All free games are played at the same stake that was selected for the initiating spin that triggered the bonus feature.
You will be awarded with 3 Arrows at the start of the Free Games bonus. You will also notice that a Shield appear on top of reels 2, 3, 4, and 5. All Shields have 4 positions that can be filled to activate the Locked Wild Reel feature. A position on the Shields is filled after each spin. When all 4 positions are filled, the reel becomes wild for the remainder of the free spins.
Also, during the Free Games bonus, wilds substitute all other symbols apart from the Target. You also need to know that any Arrows found at the last free spin will not activate a Shield position selection.

Lady Robin Hood is one of Bally's latest releases and it's obvious as soon as you play it. The graphics are brighter and smoother than some of their older titles and the game plays as well as any of the modern games I've played recently. In fact, I think this one might just be the pick of the bunch. Would I recommend it? I "Sher-wood" ;).
