Triple Inferno Slot Machine
Triple Inferno (‘the hot pot slot’) is a high-octane multi-line, multi-machine casino slot from Ash Gaming. The dynamic Vegas-style slot features three separate machines, each linked to five progressive jackpots, and a further ‘golden’ progressive prize which is shared among the triptych. Because all online players contribute to the pot, the bounty is continually on the rise.
Bright and colourful, Triple Inferno is characterised by ginormous jackpots, jaunty sound effects, wilds and an excellent bonus round. The title’s return-to-player percentage is 94%.
Choosing your machine
On the main home screen, you’ll see three identical machines lined up side-by-side. There’s a separate devil icon embossed on each machine, but the same large, multicoloured wheel situated above. At the top of the screen, you’ll see the accumulated golden jackpot.
The first thing you need to do is choose which of the three machines you want to play: the Baby Inferno, the Mr Inferno or the Mrs Inferno. All three machines have identical pay-outs, though each has a different maximum jackpot.
When you’ve selected your machine, you’ll see a standard 5x3 grid. The regular control buttons are situated at the bottom as always. There are buttons to regulate stake, an Autoplay feature and a pay-table. The green Play switch is the one you need to spin the reels.
All three machines have 20 fixed paylines, and the coin sizes range from one to 20. There are 11 pay-table symbols, including two wilds and a bonus icon. You can spin the reels manually, or by clicking Autoplay to play up to 99 bets without lifting a finger. Autoplay will deactivate if you reach the bonus round. The Autoplay menu also includes an option to turn on ‘Turbo mode’, resulting in faster play.
Fruit, bonus and BARs
Because this is a Vegas-style slot, the symbols are in keeping with the old-school feel. There are BARs, cherries, oranges, lemons, 7s and a bonus symbol. There’s also a devil and a Triple Inferno logo. Both wild symbols can replace normal icons to help you form line wins, although they do not count towards bonus wins. The character wild symbol (the devil) also comes with a x2 multiplier attached, though the regular wild (the Triple Inferno logo) does not. All wilds can form wins themselves, if there are three or more in an active line from left to right.
Regular pay-outs are solid if unspectacular. The 7s are best, with five golden sevens paying 1,000 and five red ones paying 300. Five blue 7s pays 200. Any time you hit a win, golden coins tumble from the top of the screen.
Burn, baby, burn
Three bonus wheel symbols, on reels one, three and five, awards the Wheel Bonus. When you trigger the mini-game, the normal line wins are paid first, before the game progresses to the next screen. The bonus round features a multicoloured roulette style wheel, which is surrounded by a larger, identical wheel. As the larger wheel stop spinning, you’re hoping the colours line up just so. If this happens, the second, smaller wheel will spin. Land on the arrow once more to progress and win the jackpot. Each feature guarantees a pot, with a repeat chance of another spin on the wheel. It is possible to scoop the same jackpot multiple times during a bonus round.
Naturally, the bigger the stake, the better your chance of claiming the main progressive jackpot as well as the higher jackpots associated with each game. However, it’s still feasible to land any of the six big jackpots using even a modest stake. The jackpot winnings are based on the jackpot total at the time you entered the bonus round. If it’s your lucky day and you win the same jackpot more than once during the mini-game, the second and any subsequent win amounts will be the set reseed value for that jackpot, irrespective of the jackpot value at the time.
If some other lucky so-and-so wins the jackpot while you’re playing, the game will notify you of the new jackpot value and offer the option to void the current bet. Note, this only happens for the main shared progressive, as opposed to the other jackpots associated with each machine.
The blazing inferno
Triple Inferno might be a bit too chaotic for some, but many gamers will love the preponderance of progressive jackpots. If you like fast-paced slots with bumper prizes, do yourself a favour and embrace the inferno.
